Best empanadas I have ever had in my life. The owner is so kind and the recipes are from his grandmother. Can’t get much more authentic. Great place and location to stop in Tahoe. Please visit Empanash you won’t be disappointed!❤️ Beefed up empanada was my favorite.
I went here to pickup lunch for me and my boyfriend! This is our first restaurant in Tahoe for this trip… and wow, amazing empanadas! We ordered beef, chicken, spinach and corn. The way they made the empanadas so fresh, soft, buttery, and warm was pure talent. The cashier was also so friendly and helpful! They made the order in 20 minutes so it’s super convenient to stop by here on a quick vacation.
Had the breakfast empenada and the dessert apple empanada at the restaurant. Love the dough for the skin, and egg + bacon stuffing! With chimichurri sauce, what a good mix! Buy 6 and get 1 free! $7+ per empenada is pretty pricey, but they're good! Friendly staff and cozy dining area.
