I went in expecting the usual fast food and I was very surprised. Service was outstanding and the food matched. I went with the burger and fries and was not expecting much beyond it but I will be coming back!

7-14-25 three yummy double cheese burgers costs over 45 bucks, little bit pricy even in Tahoe. Service not bad but they didn’t offer free peanuts to us. Parking was limited at the back parking lot.

Super crowded and the crew handled it well. The shift manager did all excellent job interacting with his team and the customers even though some were very cranky. Good job! 7/25/25 @8pm.

Good, old fashioned type burgers with a load of fries on the side. I know West Coast folks do backflips for In n Out but I think it's a bit overrated. Five guys is just as good if not better... They are different so it's not a direct comparison.. Kinda like NY vs Chicago style pizza. I stopped off at the South Lake Tahoe joint and everything was great.. It was beautiful day and the best part may have been sitting outside on the patio while we ate. Classic style burgers, not overdone with sauces and unnecessary toppings, good, fresh fries with the option of vinegar👌. No In n Out in Tahoe and I would never suggest McDonald's... So swing by if you're in the mood for a good burger.
This location is nothing like a typical Five Guys. The hamburgers are noticeably smaller and lack the clean, consistent shape you’d expect from their usual quality. The fries, however, were good.
