Flour Girl Wedding Cakes

We cannot say enough great things about Flour Girl Wedding Cakes! Our wedding cake was hands-down the most amazing cake we’ve ever had. Literally every bite was eaten. The flavor, texture, and design were absolutely perfect, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it.

The cookies and brownies were also a huge hit. They were completely gone before the official dessert time, which says it all! Everything Sarah made was delicious and beautifully presented.

Beyond her amazing baking skills, Sarah was fantastic to work with. She was professional, responsive, and so kind throughout the entire process. When we come back to Lake Tahoe for anniversaries, we’ll definitely be ordering another cake from her. Highly recommend!

Flour girl was an exceptional experience for our wedding! We had a tasting in April and selected two amazing, complex mix of flavors for our cake. While I knew what style cake we had chosen, I was amazed with how beautiful the cake was when I saw it on my wedding day. Truly appreciate the work of this lovely local business to make our wedding cake dreams come true.

Flour Girl Wedding Cakes nailed it, even when we asked for something a bit different than the norm and had a whole fiasco with the dragon cake topper. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options were delightful! There was also a gluten free cake tasting before the wedding; even our friends who can eat gluten were in love with the GF cakes!

We had the most delicious cake at our wedding from Flour Girl! We had three different flavors and everyone raved about each one of them. Sarah was so wonderful and easy to work with. She was so kind, professional, responsive, and helped guide us with recommendations. Flour Girl was familiar with our venue and worked so easily with our planner. Our cake was gorgeous with the flower placement, cake topper, and our little kitty figurine. We couldn’t have asked for a better cake for our special day and highly recommend Flour Girl!

We used Flour Girl for a 150 person wedding at zephyr lodge Northstar. They arrived early to set a beautiful dessert table featuring a super fresh and delicious two layer wedding cake and table of lemon bars, Tahoe cookies and other items.

The desserts were so good and received tons of praise from our guests.

They are super accommodating, value the opportunity and I highly recommend them.

We booked Flour Girl Wedding Cakes in October 2022 for our January 2024 Tahoe wedding! The most important thing to my husband was that our wedding cake actually taste GOOD- and Flour Girl waaaay more than exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful and a culinary masterpiece, and we had so much fun doing a wedding cake tasting and choosing all of our favorite flavors! We ended up doing a different combination of cake and icing and filling for each of our three tiers, then had several smaller half/quarter sheet cakes available to serve to wedding guests to make sure we had enough food for everyone. The cake was incredible, and whatever didn't get consumed by guests the night of our wedding was immediately finished at our morning after brunch the next day! They were so great to work with, delivered our cakes on time the morning of our wedding all the way to Tahoe City on a snowy winter weekend, and created a masterpiece of a wedding cake that was exactly what I had imagined. Thank you Flour Girl!!

She took the time to answer all of our questions, gave stellar advice, and was so nice! We had lots of compliments on EVERYTHING - from the presentation to the variety and taste. THANK YOU again for adding such a sweet touch to our day!

We recently had Sarah create the wedding cake and desserts for my daughters wedding. We booked our date about a year out. The dessert tasting with Sarah’s mom was so much fun. So many choices and helpful with ideas. Sarah was easy to work with and communication was great. And on the day of the wedding .. fabulous and delicious.. the cake was beautiful.

Flour Girl was so easy to work with for our wedding at the West Shore Cafe. Sarah is great at communicating and we could not have been happier with our experience. Our cake was delicious and beautiful- it was exactly what we dreamed of. We went with bite size desserts for our wedding guests which were displayed on rustic/modern trays that we rented from Flour Girl. Renting the displays was so easy and our guests raved about the desserts. Thank you so much to Sarah and her team at Flour Girl!

Sarah made us golf themed cupcakes for the rehearsal dinner and a three tiered cake for the wedding that was so good we barely got any! Beware if you are taking pictures when the cake is served you may miss out. However, we know that cake was so good, we ordered it again for our anniversary and loved every bite!

We are so glad we chose Flour Girl on our wedding day - our cake and desserts were beautiful and delicious! The service was professional and we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of!
