One of the best taquerias in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Usually, I order a few street tacos: chile verde and carnitas. Recently, with friends, we added ceviche tacos. Yum!
The salsa bar is terrific.

Parking: Sometimes crowded parking, but wait a few minutes.

I got the chicken taco combo and horchata, and it was delicious. The combo comes with rice, beans, sour cream, and guacamole. The food was great and the service was great too. Typical taqueria vibes under the Pines in beautiful lake tahoe. What could be better?!

Unfortunately, the California asada burrito and steak fajitas burrito were incredibly disappointing. The asada had zero seasoning, and the fajitas had no flavor to it. Both the meats' texture and appearance looked as if it were BOILED instead of grilled!!!
Hard to believe the birria tacos came from the same place, that was seriously good.

Wow! Amazing food! Birria Taco were incredible. We ate outside at their tables. Our dog was allowed on the patio with us! Definitely recommend. Very friendly.

The asada super burrito was delicious but unfortunately the california burrito with chicken was no good. I opened it up to find 75 percent soggy thick fries, 20 percent really dry chicken, and 5 percent clumped up sour cream. I would go again for the super burrito and the awesome staff, but steer clear of california burrito with chicken.

Order the mojarra it had no flavor, the Camerones cocktail was hot I thought it would be cold like I'm used too. The taquitos were stale the chicken was hard. The only good thing was the French fries, and churros. Definitely would not come back here again. Waste of money.

Tried to go on a Wednesday at 12:45pm when Google said they'd be open. Big closed sign and doors locked. No posted hours so we don't know when to return. Small sign on other side of building said open. Very confusing and disappointing.

Quick phone order was ready in 10 minutes and food was great.

The food was really good. Authentic Mexican food. I gof the asada california burrito and my wife got the al pastor burrito. My son got the quesabirrias, and my daughter got the birria plate. Everything tasted amazing.
