When I don't want to cook this humble restaurant will serve you the best authentic food !My family is very picky & dont let me off the hook too often . But we're always down for a great meal here !! Everything is fresh served hot! and the family who runs this place are by far the friendliest people you will meet ! Thank you for sharing your amazing recipes while serving the community. And giving me a much needed break from cooking!

Wonderful food at this small family joint. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is very casual, has a cafe feel to it. My smoke show of a wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch. I ordered a Pastor tostada and a carne Asada burrito. The tostada was simple amazing, top 3 I've ever had!! The burrito was almost its equal and was stuffed with plenty of steak, the half I didn't eat reheated perfectly. The smoke show wasn't feeling so great due to a long night prior playing blackjack and enjoying a few cocktails. She kept it very simple getting a bean and cheese burrito, it was a simple but fine dish that picked up her spirits. Both house made hot sauces were on point! Added bonus I grabbed a few empanadas to go, yum!

It may be helpful to send someone from the kitchen to Mexico to learn how to prepare carnitas. What I was served bore no resemblance to any carnitas plate I have been served.

Such a cute family run restaurent. The inside is clean and nice. We went up to the counter to order from this nice lady, and everything came out fast and fresh. She even gave us free chips and different kinds of salsa when we waited. The Wet Burritos were delicious and tasty, full of meat, rice, beans and cheese. The sauce were tasty. The carne asada tacos were well grilled, served with dined diced fresh onions. We are planing to come back again soon to try all the other tasty plates.

Wow. In a lake of disappointing Mexican in Tahoe, this place delivers Mission style Burritos. Also, their California Burrito use the correct style thin fries. Secret? Their tortilla is thin and they don't double wrap it.. does it mean it can get messy when filled with sour cream and guacamole and juicy carne asada? Yes, that's the risk you run... and requires skill to eat cleanly. We'll be back! (They're closed Sunday btw)
