By far my favorite place to go out to eat. The employees are absolutely incredible and the food is to die for. The atmosphere also never fails. There are not enough kind words I could say about MacDuffs. I would definitely recommend going hereKid-friendliness: Kid friendly

I was married in Tahoma in 1981, and my oldest daughter was married in Emerald Bay in 2014, and ate here at MacDuffs for her wedding reception so we decided to commemorate the occasion by having lunch! Fish & Chips, Chicken Tortillas Soup in a freshly baked bread bowl(!!), and a Shepherd’s Pie followed up with a delicious Bread Pudding alà mode w/4 spoons. Wonderful meal and great service - thank you ?

Seriously the best French onion soup ever.... The chicken nuggets with all the sauces was great & the Ruben was outstanding! The service is great! It's not fancy but the food is incredible! Best in South Lake Tahoe

Great spot for a quick bite! Ended up going here twice during our stay. Clam chowder and french onion soup were both really good!

Stopped by during winter after the slopes. Clam choder was delicious, especially the piza ring is the best! The ladies that service us were supper nice and had best recommendations for us. The atmosphere was nice, a bit small place, but comfortable.

Only problem we had was the menu we got did not match the online menu, so if you want bangers and mash find another place. The sheaperds pie made up for it though. My fish and chips were of the very best I have ever had.Parking: Fine when we were there but not a crowded night.

Friendly service and got seated quickly without a reservation. The steak and Guinness stew was very flavoursome and generous portion size. My husband ordered the chicken pot pie and although this tasted nice, there was definitely a lack of chicken and it was much smaller than the stew. Nice pub otherwise.
