Cute, tiny venue but the drinks and food were delicious. We got the filet, very tender and great sauce.

we were waiting for our food for kind of a while, and half of our party's food came out a whole 15 minutes before everyone else's. however, they gave us a discount as an apology for the wait, and when the food did come out, it was actually quite good. nice, comfy vibe inside too.

The place is expansive but tasty, portions sizes are small. This would be a great place for a small celebration but not for an ordinary diner. The food was good but cocktails are just mediocre. We spend $230 for dinner (2 entries, one appetizer and 3 cocktails plus taxes and tips).

Cute spot, nice staff, but the food was overrated. The Maggie's Beni was just okay.. looks pretty but just average and my egg whites were super runny to the point that I didn't want to finish it.The chicken fried pork belly was tasty, but overrated.

Egg-cellent! Wow the Eggs Benedict were outstanding. Such a little jewel box of a restaurant. Attentive staff and cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Unique and amazing breakfast options. I was a little worried about chicken fried pork belly. I thought it could be chewy. Nope. It was amazing and tender. The gravy thick and yummy. The biscuit soft. All wonderful. The coffee was good. The service was good. The classic breakfast was also just right.

We brought two friends here to celebrate one's birthday. I noted that on the reservation and also called and was assured they would put some candles on her dessert. That they didn't isn't the real issue. The table was right by the door and people just kept coming in and out, the noise level was beyond too high - we got exhausted yelling at each other. Two of the four meals were not good but certainly they were all expensive. The waitstaff was disinterested in our table at best. I was given a box to pack my own leftovers which is just not cool in such an expensive restaurant. We really wanted to enjoy this but just felt that the whole experience didn't live up to our expectations.

The house salad was excellent, but the Caesar salad that my wife ordered was mediocre. The chicken dish that I ordered was pretty good, but my wife ordered a medium cooked fillet mignon. There was no pink in the fillet and when you are paying 60+ dollars for a steak, you expect it to be cooked properly.

The spot is so quaint and modern!Service was phenomenal. Ambiance is great for Tahoe.Price is reasonable for the quality of the food and level of service.Drinks are a bit pricey but worth it. I had a mixed espresso drink, my friends had regular drinks and those were good too.I ordered the chilaquiles osso buco and was impressed by it.The side potatoes are the best I have ever had. (The egg and potatoes were separate).

After reading all the great reviews I knew this was a place I needed to check out while I was in Lake Tahoe. The restaurant is located inside of the Desolation hotel and there are signs that make navigation very straightforward. We had a large party and when we walked in we thought “we won’t fit in here”. Fret not - there is space for larger parties. The service was great. The food was very good and I”m glad we decided to dine here.

I went to Maggie’s last week on Wednesday night. We called in advance to make sure that we will have a table for two. The lady on the phone was nice. She said that we can just come and there is no waiting for a table. So we walked in about 10 min. As she said, the place had several open tables but not cleaned. We asked if we can seat at the bar but it was refused without a reason. We simply just want to get a drink while we were waiting. Oh well, the waitress told us that we can go get a drink at the bar and standing there. We have to wait outside in the cold. We thought that they must be short in help. So we got out in the cold. Here we go, we were watching the five open tables, they cleaned them 25 mins later. And then kept them open for another 15min. We went in and ask if we can seat when that are getting table mats and utensils on it because it was cold out. The waitress got so rude. She said that she told us to wait outside. So 40 minutes later in the cold, we were not seated but asked to staying waiting outside in the cold without any explanations with 5 open tables. Sorry that is not acceptable. Bye bye Maggie’s you don’t deserve our business ever. We got a table and went to Golden Ramsey He’ll kitchen instead in the village. Bad management and bad services
