I give the 1970's decor a pass because of the cool photos on the walls and the general vibe. The Mariposa margarita was awesome; the food was good; and the service was perfect. I would come here again.
I had the burrito with pastor and my friend had the enchilada plate. I opted for the salad choice rather than rice and beans. The salad was lovely-the rice and beans good and ample. Both meals were good but very traditional Mexican meaning not smothered in sauce. the salsa was chunky; flavorful; and plentiful which I prefer anyway. First evening just for margaritas and happy hour - bartender was great and the margaritas were awesome.
Second evening we went for dinner and had a great meal.
Our server, Amber, was amazing. Very attentive, and friendly.
Food was great and we had a great time all around.
