Food was good but not super flavorful. We ordered take out, and the staff was not very helpful or accommodating. It was 1pm on a Thursday so no, it wasn't even busy yet they weren't very helpful.

I emerged from the slopes and was extremely hungry looking for some authentic mexican. Unfortunately I picked this spot, It was awful. The service took for ever and the waiter was extremely rude. One of our meals had a toothpick left in it from the fryer. This is a dump, the chicken wassent seasoned in any way straight up plain shredded chicken. The Surf and Turf was charred so much it was in every bite. I do not recommend. The waiter brought our everything one at a time and gave silverware after we had to ask. There’s also no margaritas. My lovely family was just trying to enjoy a authentic class meal and was abruptly surprised by a long wait and a huge waste of money.

The Guy below could learn to use some patience as he came in shortly after my group had and was seated. My food came out, everything was great, the owner came to check on the table at every pass. From entering the door to paying, We were at an hour and ten minutes. Wonderful service. Keep up the wonderful food and service.
DO NOT EAT HERE! Took over 45 minutes still no food. No service. Son owner insisted on charging us when we did not even get our meals. Worst service I have ever had in SL Tahoe. No pride, do not care about

Came here with my 1 year old. Everything is not vegan but they have great vegan options. Server was very polite and responsive to our needs. Kitchen speed was average and maybe a tad slow for a Mexican restaurant but worth the wait. I had the vegan beef. Not bad. Might do potatoes if I could do it over. The beans are killer though. So well seasoned

I am vegetarian and Mexican food is my favorite food. I am from Southern California and have visited Mexico a few times, so I have a high standard for Mexican food. This place is SO GOOD. The best food I've ever eaten in Tahoe!!! Service was remarkable as well. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you Maria's! I can't wait to come back.

Awful service, burnt food and toothpick left in a burrito. They refused to take anything off of our bill and added service charge. Major disappointment :(

It's overrated. Came here a few years ago and it was great but now that I've returned the food was average at best and service wasn't great either.
