Off The Hook Sushi

Absolutely delightful! Every bite was perfection, and the dessert was super delicious!! We ordered the California Roll, Sugar Mama, and Rainbow roll, we couldn't resist eating before taking a pic. Thank you!!!

It was busy when we came in but we were seated pretty quickly which was nice. We also came in just in time for Happy Hour which was a pretty good menu! Our food was brought out fairly quickly after placing the orders and our waitress was nice. Everything from our appetizers, to our sushi rolls, to my parent’s salmon plates was delicious! Overall a really great experience! I see why they’re voted the best sushi (:

This place is a must when you’re in South Lake. Food is incredible, staff is so friendly and welcoming. You can even check wait times online in real time and if it’s busy, get on the waiting list. We had a great time! Thank you!

Great price for sushi. Definitely packed inside during dinner time. Has large selection of items. Parking is free. Easy to find. Has outdoor seating as well.

My experience was terrible. First I walk in and sat down at the bar, immediately I was told sit at a table. Second the food was small portion & tasteless. Service can be better... worst Sushi experience I ever had.

Food was very good, I'm a huge sushi critic and I thought everything was fantastic. Servers were very friendly and we had no wait on a Saturday night. Definitely would go again.

We were staying in South Lake Tahoe for the week and visited Off the Hook for dinner Friday night. Place was jamin when we arrived around 7:00p which is always a good sign. Wait was :30min but they offered some drinks while we hung out. Only took :20min to be seated. I appreciate that they were quicker than communicated.

Chose this place because it is allergy friendly, catering to gluten free, dairy free, nut and other allergies. They have a tailored menu to GF with several options.
We went all in on the sushi and it was delicious.
They even brought Tamari sauce out per our request.
Sat at the bar and the sushi chef was on it.
Quick service and very polite.

Best happy hour Sushi in town. Great people running the place too. Family friendly.
