Got a Porterhouse bigger than my head. A little pricey, but one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. The twice baked taters were awesome too. The only thing I didn't like was it reeks like bleach inside.

Traveling full-time in my RV across USA I always by my meat from local family run butcher shops. I know it'll cost a little more but, it's definitely worth it. While here I purchased dryrub Ribeyes, hamburger patties, Tri-Tip, porkchops, chicken and swordfish. I asked for tips on best way to prepare and cook each of these items and got some really good tips from 2 gentlemen working behind the counter. ?All team members I interacted with were very friendly and professional. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Next time I'm in Tahoe area I will make Overland Meat & Seafood a priority stop.

Purchased two of Overland's $29.99 Valentine's Steak and Lobster Tail specials. Lobster tails were respectable, but the filet mignon steaks were super tiny and mismatched sizes at that. Got Safeway meat at Overland prices.

Great selection of steaks... and an amazing hidden gem for Hawaiian poke. By a noticeable margin the best poke place in the Tahoe area, which isn't saying much, but yum!They have a ton of fun seasonal stuff too, like Dungeness crab and what not too. Def support the local butcher and their good stuff!

I've came to Overland on a few occasions when I've been staying at my buddy's cabin in Lake Tahoe. The first time I came here my friends and I purchased a marinaded tri tip, twice baked potatoes and some sausage links. Everything was great. We grilled these items up while watching the Warriors in the NBA Finals. The Tri Tip came out great. The marinade really enhanced the flavor of the meat. The twice baked potatoes were amazing as well. Overland has a huge selection of meats and seafood. Literally anything that you would want. Large selection of rubs and sauces as well. They have great reviews for a reason. Highly recommended.
I have been here so many times as a local but today between 3 and 4pm I got a different experience. I came in for meat and scallops. Granted, everyone here is always so friendly and is always eager to assist with whatever meat you want. I hate that I did not get any names because this was a great experience. First, I was helped by this friendly wonderful guy at the seafood section. I wanted to buy scallops and had no idea which type and how much it would cost. He was patient and kind enough to weighed half a pound of the small ones for me so that could figure out the price ranges. While I was being assisted with the scallops, there was this Latina guy I think, who asked if I needed anything else and he is the reason I am writing this review. I have never been in this place or any other butchery where an employee knows so much about meat and their cuts. This guy and I wish I had gotten his name, he knew his meat and steaks. I ended up picking a T-bone, porterhouse and a New York steak but not before this guy gave me what felt like a masterclass in meat and their cuts. Usually the other guys will just select any meat I request but this one actually allowed me to pick the best looking one and he explained the differences of the same meat based on how they were cut.

Very disappointed in their quality. I dont know how they have 5 stars. Our filets were butchered and nit in a good way. The T bones are missing one side, a few packages were completely frozen burned shortly after purchase. We will never be back and would advise people to go else where.

Many choices of fresh cut butchered meats. I picked up a few thick cut pork chops. They were delicious. Counter staff was friendly & helpful. Staff also made great suggestions for preparing the meats. Pricey, but worth it for the quality.
