Our party of four enjoyed a wonderful dinner experience this week at the Riva Grill in South Lake Tahoe. Everything was perfect from our table in front of the window on the second floor so we could watch the beautiful sunset lake view, and which they made accessible for my wheelchair, to the cocktails, delicious food, and the yummy desserts. It was Wet Woody Wednesday and they were the best we've ever had, and each five dollars off. We ordered the chimichurri salmon, scallops,...
Our “server”, GREG was amazing...Very patient, friendly, and a great personality! We were meeting family, and we had a lot of catching up to do, so we didn't even order until an hour after our arrival, and of course, stayed way beyond as well. GREG never once made us feel that we were overstepping...to the contrary. I chose Riva Grill specifically for the lake view, food, and ambience. I have frequented Riva Grill before, and thought it would be a great place for visiting...
We felt the view was nice, the food was average and our waiter was ok. Felt uncomfortable when he passed me and rubbed my shoulder- and did it twice. Brought our appetizer with our meal which we didn't expect.
