I think this is the first all-category five star review I’ve ever posted. This place ROCKS.
Atmosphere? Gorgeous.
Food and bev? Locally sourced and delicious.
Staff? Friendly and knowledgeable. Hayley and Jason were both amazing. Jason is also a distiller here and is more than happy to share knowledge on the spirits they make.
If you are visiting South Lake this place is not to be missed.

solid Sunday eve jazz quintet, some very innovative blended cocktails, friendly top level service at the bar, recommend the fish tacos. On the trip highlights and plan-to-return list.
This was a lovely brewpub. Great food. Great beer. Really cool staff. Loved it. Every now and again you get lucky and stumble into the exactly perfect place.
We got there super late. The sign says the kitchen stays open late. True to that. We got the chicken tacos (decent size), chicken BLT (ate half, took half home), fried brussel sprouts -yum, and sausage plate. Nice atmosphere.
One time when I went here I had the craziest night of my life.
They made a mistake on my order but it was the person making the food’s first name. Clam chowder was great. The brat was ok but the chili was really good. Prices were reasonable and service was great
The food and service was great. We had soup and Rueben sandwiches. The gin and tonics were so good we had to buy a bottle of their gin. Shedcat at has become one of our favorite places in Tahoe.

Super friendly service. Loved their cocktails! Rum was my favorite but their quality is evident in all their spirits.

Don't serve overpriced food cold. Especially the french fries. Stone cold. Fish and chips $25 for a few pieces of fish and lots of cold fries. Bowl of chilli decent but filled 3/4 and you also get charged $3 if you want anything on top of it like onions or sour cream. Just very pricey for what it is. IF you are going to charge Bay Area prices you really gotta serve Bay Area quality food and this was not it, unfortunately.
