The beer here is amazing. I was served by Tyler at the original location and my experience from him was the best in town. I now look forward to coming there every time I’m thirsty.

My husband and I took a day trip to Lake Tahoe and we happened upon South Lake Brewing Company. I like the chill and modern vibe of this place, with lots of natural light inside. They had a good selection of beer and 1 seltzer at the time. I’m giving this place 4 stars because I thought the service of the bartenders was a little lacking and I strongly disliked the seltzer I got but, it is a brewery and I felt their beers were pretty good. If you like beer, I would stop by and check this place out!

Service was really helpful and friendly. Fun atmosphere with a live band (Saturday, 1:30pm), place was very busy and shared a large community table. Good beer selection, ordered a giant pretzel which was fantastic and super filling.

So many great reviews. Ugh.Who even remembers if the beer was good, the service was so bad. We brought a party of nine into this brewery on our annual family trip and we proceeded to receive the worst customer service we’ve had in 20 years of eating out on this trip. If only I remembered our server’s name, I would post it here so you watch out for her.One of our meals did not come out with the rest. We were all totally fine with that, things happen. Believe it or not, we were friendly and understanding. It’s vacation! We’re having a blast!! Our server was so insecure that she came back to the table to apologize but she apologized so defensively that it came out in anger. Not sure what happened, but 30 minutes later we still did not have the missing burger and the woman had been to our table 3 times since then. Every single time she was rude and angry. I’ve never experienced a server angry with guests because she screwed up. None of us were upset until after she raged us a few times. I walked up to the bar to cash out our beer tab so we could flee and caught her in the middle of telling the bartender that she’d love to smash our faces because we were such terrible customers. Had I been to this restaurant with my friends and received this kind of treatment, I might’ve stood up and smacked her. But I was with my family and they are gracious and friendly. They even tipped her after this mess! Our server needs to see a therapist. Her insecurity knows no bounds! I’m not sure Dr. Phil could make me understand why we felt bad and she was pissed. We will talk about this experience on many trips to come and it won’t be a fond memory. She’s got problems.

Great beer and seltzer! We did not try the pizza, but the menu looks really good. Very little parking so you may need to walk. The live music was meh and loud.

Had a few hours to kill before checking into my airbnb so stopped by around 2 pm, grabbed a beer (Angora IPA was a solid 9/10), and got some work done on my laptop while seeing other visitors stop by (some with their dogs!). Spent a good 3 hours here and absolutely loved it!
