We ordered some drinks and a hot sandwich and quesadilla. The helpful front staff brought our drinks to the table within a few minutes. Some time went by and many other guests that came in around the same time also got their drinks and food. We figured our food might have taken some more time to prepare since there were more steps to get the bread and tortillas toasted or something. One thing that was really strange after 15-30 minutes was that the cooking staff looked like they were just laughing and talking without actually doing anything until someone else came in and ordered some food, where they were able to whip that up and get it to them before they could even spare a thought for our meal. I went up and asked how many more orders were ahead of ours, and it seemed like they missed it somehow and said they would get started on it just now. We said forget it and just give us our money back for the food we didn't get. The drinks were okay I guess, but not worth what we paid and the tip we didn't get back since the system asks you to tip before you get to enjoy your meal. We enjoyed our lunch elsewhere.

Pricey (but what isn't anymore?). Food excellent. Had Mexican Volcano salad which was very fresh and had a great combination of flavors. Daughter had a tuna melt which was generously served and quite good according to her. Order at counter and food brought to your table. Very clean inside. Not too many people because we were there at 10 AM. First time I have been in a cafe with Enigma songs playing. We are going to make Sprouts our 'get together and catch up' spot in the future.

Place is very warm and welcoming. Very friendly and smiling staff. Food is good in quality and quantity. I loved hot apple cider. One thing that can be greatly improved is cleanliness as tables were sticky and we couldn’t safely keep our arms and hands on it. My wife enjoyed her Cous Cous burrito and I enjoyed the Bee sting smoothie. Parking was a challenge but it was worth it. We keep coming back almost every time we are in Tahoe, so that tell you something.

What a terrible experience, our first day in Lake Tahoe we needed to grab a quick bite before our toddler takes her nap, we looked a few places but everywhere we went it was packed, but this place it was 2 people about to leave and us the first who placed an order… after we placed our ordered peiole started coming and it got significantly full, however they served about 7+ people that was after us, then we complained and they said they served our food to someone else, they also complained…. After that they brought us a cold breakfast, and the waitress told us they were going to give us an extra one, at this point one of the order was not ready either, my toddler was already losing her mind bc she was hungry and sleepy, the first one they brought it in a to go container which I have to rip off to get the half to my partner, no utensils.. then the other one came in a plate which I had to get a box and no bag or utensils… the food was cold and at this point it’s all saggy and disgusting!! So upsetting

We came here because of the healthy food options. The food was great, with a number of choices for kid options. The price was very reasonable, and I saw a couple local looking customers as well. I appreciated their staff and service especially. I had different staff I think on the two days I visited, but all of them were very friendly, provided great service and accommodated my request for hot water + lemon without extra charge. I just wanted to say thank you for making it a pleasant experience, and apologies that I left a few chips/napkins on the table. I had a rough day. For context, we stayed at a five star hotel and I genuinely felt that the combination of food, service, and price here was far better than my experience at the hotel.Kid-friendliness: Good variety of options for kids

I highly recommend Mexican Volcano, Quesadillas and Vegetarian Crunch Sandwich.Vegetarian options: It’s so fresh and delicious. They are pretty good at cooking vegetarian dishesParking: Ample of spots in front of the cafe. But there’s also a free parking lot nearby.

Had to write this review because I genuinely feel this place is undeserving of a 4.6 star status today. The food options are mid as the only protein option is turkey. The 2 tables I tried were exceptionally sticky.Finally, the cook was kinda overly frustrated when I asked for my son's burrito to be remade due to allergy restrictions. I mentioned the allergy at the order counter, but I admit I could have been more specific on the order. Still definitely not a 4.6 experience for me
