The desserts here are wonderful! They had a few options with meringue, which I love. The kind employee was so nice to give us recommendations for where to eat in town. Such a cute place!

Emailed the bakery from the SF Bay Area a few weeks before the event and ordered a custom cake for my birthday weekend in South Lake Tahoe. They responded promptly as what their website says ( days minimum response time) and was able to confirm my order after a few days of back and forth with the design and flavor via email. I decided on a 6in round black and white cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Paid for it over the phone and picked it up an hour earlier than my pick up time (i called and asked if i can pick up earlier). It was sooo beautiful and delicious! We all loved it! Thank you Sugar Pine Bakery!!! You made me so happy!

Walked 45 minutes in the snow up hill both ways to get here. WELL worth the effort. Friendly service, reasonable prices and the flavor says everything is baked from scratch.

I was looking forward to trying this spot, but $13 for a croissant with egg and cheese seemed hard to justify, especially considering the small portion size.

I had ordered a birthday cake , paid for it ,and When I went to pick it up it was not there So disappointing and they really did not seem to feel bad about the error

I purchased an assortment of pastries. OMG everything tasted fantastic!!! The croissants were flakey and delicious. Muffins, scones, and mini pies were tender and tasty.

I ordered a birthday cake here for pickup on Wednesday. I arrived a little early to pick up as this was just a standard offered cake. I waited about 5-7 minutes for someone to come to the front to help me.

Meanwhile there was a group of people sitting in the corner taking a break while I was waiting. I was told to come back in 5 minutes.

When I arrived back, one of the people in the corner came behind the counter and asked “so are you picking something up” . I was so blown away. You let me stand here for a long time while you took your break and then have the audacity to ask what I’m doing here.

The cake was amazing but the service here is a joke, don’t be expected to be helped in a timely manner.
