Owner lady is not smiley and friendly. Restroom is their big problem, you can also see from other comments. Not recommended place

Closed at 10:15am even though sign outside clearly states place opens at 10am. Very disappointed

A group of 15 and I went to Tahoe Bear Tea House to get boba. As a group, we had ordered about 9 drinks. Per the sign, it said that restroom is for customers only. When someone in our group asked to use the bathroom, when they were done they told the code to another paying customer in our group. A male coworker came over and very rudely yelled at two people in our group on two separate occasions for not asking for permission to use the bathroom first. We will not be returning to this establishment unfortunately due to the rude customer service.

I don’t understand how you run out of Boba?? It’s a tea shop and so much of the menu has Boba.. And they also say that they can’t put less shots of espresso in my drink. I don’t understand why.. I should be able to customize my drink. I’m a paying customer.

Thai ice tea was bitter, charged me for additional topping and regular boba was skipped….
Matcha drink was too watery with no taste and frozen boba chunks.
That is now how I am use to drinking boba tea.

Way too expensive. $4.25 for a hot tea. 50 cents for a cup of hot water when I asked for it to make a bottle for my daughter. The prices they show on their menu are not accurate.

Always enjoy myself when I come here - happy wife when I deliver her hot sig milk tea!

The brown sugar pearls were overcooked. The milk tea was not bad.

This place used to be good. Now the drinks are watered down. When you order a boba smoothie or boba tea, if they ask you if you want toppings, make sure you tell them you want the boba thats included in the “boba smoothie” or included in the “boba tea”. If you tell them no toppings, all you get is the smoothie or the tea. If you answer “yes, the boba”, they’ll charge you an extra dollar for extra boba. So make sure you make it clear that you want the included boba only.
If you don’t tip, even for take out, they’ll water down your drink like you wouldn’t believe.
I hope another boba place opens up in tahoe.

We literally stand and stare for quite awhile so many options and we wanted to taste them all so we came back again the next day!

Lots of Boba and smoothie options. Ube latte was delicious, and they offer nondairy options such as coconut and oat milk. Liked the recommended 25% sweetness so it wasn’t too sweet. The Lego wall is a very cool touch.

Great, I will visit it again, the place has good service and in moo they prepare your order the children can play

My 12 year old loved this place. She loved the Lego room, the boba, and playing chess. Good vibe to hang out with kids or to grab & go. We came back twice during our visit.

Horrible customer service
The owner and the staff of this place were rude and treated their customers with a very bad attitude. The milk tea that I ordered was spoiled and stale. I just took one little sip of my drink and I told them that the drink is bad. They made all kind of excuses and told me that’s how the tea is supposed to be and it was their “special recipe”. I asked them nicely to replace me with another drink and they refused to. Then, I asked to have a little cup of water so I can take my medicine and they want to charge me $1.50 for faucet water. I can understand if they charge me $.50 for the cup. They also were rude when I asked them the code for the bathroom. They were not only rude to me I saw them mistreat other customers too. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.
