We stayed within walking distance during a stay in South Lake Tahoe. I went every morning for coffee and breakfast! The golden milk latte was great. The avocado toast is something I will be trying to recreate at home because it was that good. This space is inside of the hotel and was pretty easy to find.

Their Tropical Colada smoothie is to die for! Their sandwiches were suboptimal and they didn’t have any substitutes for bacon or ham. But the service and atmosphere made up for it!

This is a nice breakfast place tucked inside of the basecamp hotel check in. I got the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. The staff is friendly, service was quick, and the ambient is comforting.

Ok as stated I was coming back and I wouldn't have missed out on that chance!! Avocado toast still my fave I've had in the area. That pillowy bread is unmatched. Absolutely loved it. This time I also had hot chocolate. YUMMY. I'm a hot chocolate girl and .... This may also be my favorite of all time but I'll wait til I have it again to be SURE. It wasn't busy this time when we went around 1130 on a Thursday morning today 1/25/24. No snow though this year yet in Tahoe so not sure if that changes the crowds. We were able to sit on the cozy basecamp couches and enjoy the view of the outdoor fire pits and the mountains on the other side. Friendly fast service I will come here every time I am in Tahoe mark my words!

The coffee is good. I would suggest that the baristas mix syrups into coffee when it’s ordered instead of letting it pool at the bottom. Not a big deal of course I can mix it myself. The acai bowl is ok to meh. The acai and granola are good, need more and different fruit toppings esp for $15. It should also have honey by default and maybe some coconut shavings. The barista added honey for me and that was nice. The bacon breakfast taco was awful. I had to take a bite of the acai bowl with each bite to avoid gagging. The salsa was bad too. Sorry I hate to criticize but that’s how it was.

Braving the cold weather to walk to this spot was totally worth it! Located inside Basecamp Hotel, this coffee shop has a warm and inviting vibe. The space is shared with the hotel lobby and is warm and cozy. Trailfolk is located in the back corner of that lobby'. The service was good but the cashier was a bit snarky and didn't seem friendly, but it was early so that could have been why. The menu is nice and filled with many different options. We had the Cafe de Ola and the Chantico which were heavenly. We snagged two of their homemade strawberry pop tarts and they were delicious. We also had their cinnamon roll which was super fluffy and yummy. Would have been better warmed up though. We also had the everything toast which was very tasty as well. This is a hidden gem not to miss!

Very close to the place i was staying at. Quick service, quality of food was good. Simple & tasty just the right amount. Going to come back to try the coffee, but we ordered cold press juice, southwest potato bowl, and avocado toast. The bowl was light & not oily, but my toast was soft and chewy. It wasn't toasty enough.

I wanted to love this place. It was walkable from where we were staying, the ambiance was very charming and the reviews were good. Sadly, the cashier was not friendly at all. She charged me for a cup of ice water without me knowing and did not add the vanilla syrup we paid for to our drip coffee. When we got our food before our drip coffee I went in and politely asked about the coffee and was told they ran out and were brewing more. Not a big deal but the cashier just wasn't very nice with her delivery and seemed annoyed that I even asked for my coffee. Came back the next day because I wanted to try the pop tarts to go but they were sold out :[

I love this cute little place nestled inside the Basecamp Hotel lobby. It is small so it is better to eat there on a nice day when you can sit outside. I haven't been there during the cold weather yet. They may have other seating options. Coffee, food, and homemade pop tarts are excellent. Service is always amazingly quick and friendly.
