Really great food. I got the quarter chicken with two sides. The potatoes were out of this world. I will definitely be back when I’m in Tahoe.

Wow! After traveling all day to get to Tahoe, what a great first choice of food! I ordered the Burrito Salad with chicken. It was incredibly flavorful, healthy, and filling. Honestly it was so flavorful it didn’t need dressing but the vinaigrette was 🤌🏼. Service was top notch and respectful, we had our space. I would describe the atmosphere as contemporary nature, complete with calm modern country music. Thank you!!!

This place has fresh, tasty and well-prepared Mexican food with a modern twist. It is the place I go to most in South Lake Tahoe.
Yesterday I was really disappointed in the service. The cashier was extremely impatient and kept asking us if we were ready to order. When I asked if she had horchata (a question that I think is fair in a Mexican restaurant), she rudely answered that if it’s not on the menu, they don’t have it. Guess the cashier may have been having a bad day, but it really seemed unnecessary to talk to customers as she did… especially because the restaurant was empty at the time we ordered and there was no line.
I don’t usually post reviews, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I felt I needed to share.

Excellent chicken tacos. I can enjoy a full meal here for less than $20. (Including a beer!)
Tri trip was excellent! Chips were disappointing. Will be back for tri tip!
Honestly still thinking about this meal...we were visiting from LA and stopped at Verde for lunch after a long hike. I really wish there was a Verde in LA now. I ordered an LA equivalent and it was not to the same standard. I would also pay for that cilantro sauce recipe. 10/10

Delicious, healthy and generous portions - the torta burger is my personal favorite as are their selection of sides. Love that it's locally owned. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options if that's your jam.

We ordered Burrito, and salad. We had everything customized. They even made it Jain. No onion, no garlic, no potatoes

It's become a total joke. They started in Meyers as a 'locals' spot then moved to the Y location. $18 bucks for a burrito is so lame. Verde food is just OK, at best. If you dine-in, they give you 4 tortilla chips as a sad little side. They tried to copy T's but has become an epic fail. Nice pretty space, but the food is so overpriced, it's comical and not very good.

Great place to eat in or for take out. Good selection of barbecued meats with a touch the South West and Mexico

This place was clean and bright, and had a hip young vibe. The favorites from our family were the mahi mahi tacos and chicken tacos. I would skip the tri-tip tacos next time. The salsas were the best we’ve had in the Tahoe area. The homemade kombucha was excellent.
