Vinny's Pizza

The pizza had hardly any sauce on it, good size and flavor though. The wings were VERY dry. I bit into one and it literally crumbled.

This is New York Style pizza (Thin Crust). Google pictures from users could be deceiving, as in our case. I've enjoyed frozen pizza far better than this. $180 order and wanting to throw it all in the garbage. Doesn't help either they forgot or the door dasher kept one of the pizzas. The sauce tasted good, toppings are sparse. Holy cow where do they spend their revenue because it seems they are stingy on the toppings. The crust to us was flavorless, the outside crust was airy, crunchy and not good. The toppings missed an entire third of the pizzas. I didn't see anywhere on the Google for this place that it was New York Style, I definitely would have avoided it based off that alone. That picture of them tossing the pizza was definitely deceiving.

We come up to Tahoe and spend a few days every year and for the past three years I’ve had Vinny‘s pizza. Each time it was good with a good crust and some cheese and I enjoyed it. Today I ordered a large Vinnies combination and was very dissatisfied, I imagine there’s cheese on there someplace, but it was almost as if there was no cheese and the crust was flat and paper like and I wondered what was going on. I did a Google search to see if the pizzeria had changed owners and with it maybe everything else but no, it has not. Maybe I just got a bad pizza today. I don’t know but I ham very disappointed and so next year I’ll go back and try blue dog pizza which I’ve had years ago and or somebody else’s because I love pizza but I didn’t love this one.

We ordered take out, so my review is based on food quality only. The crust seemed to be pre-made, maybe frozen? By the time we got it back to our room, 10 minutes away, it was dry and hard. Maybe would have been better in restaurant?

Great pizza for a local spot good crunchy crust would get again especially after a day at the lake and a couple cold beers too

The pesto chicken pizza, gambler pizza, and spaghetti were all very tasty. A tiny bit pricey but definitely worth it and more in my family’s opinion. The dude working was very helpful and took time to ask how the food was. Great experience!

Our family of 8 came here after spending the day at Heavenly resort. When the wait was 90 minutes at Base Camp pizza we decided to look for a good local place that was walking distance and Vinny’s was a great choice!! The pizza was absolutely delicious and the staff was so friendly. Skip the long lines and go here!!

Chip was so nice to us. He wanted to open ip early for us but the ovens needed to warm up. Couldn’t have handled it better.

Pizza was great my family and I have came here once before in 2018 and loved this place decided to come back still love there food wings were really good too! They sell beer but wish they had pitchers

The only thing that makes it a 4 is the price but the food is top notch and especially the service/people working their are awesome. Some super cool guys you can talk to while you order your pizza and they make some legit good thin crust/new York style pizza little flop but it is Tahoe prices.

Called in an order and was told it would be 25 minutes. When I arrived after 25 minutes I was told it would be another 5 minutes. No problem, I waited. After 5 minutes I was told they screwed up the order and it would be another 7 to 10 minutes. I ordered a Medium pizza but they baked a Large pizza by mistake. So...give me the Lge pizza at the Medium price since YOU screwed up rather than making the customer wait!
