My first time at Gus's BBQ. Made reservations for 11:45am arrived early got seated right away despite being busy. Our server was very polite and attentive to our needs. I got the tri-tip and the Ms. Got a the 3 meat picnic which co sister off Memphis Ribs, Brisket and Chicken. We added the Cajun Shrimp appetizer and deviled eggs. The food was tastefully delightful and decadent. The BBQ sauces was a plus. Loved that they had on TAP hazy IPA option. Great job Gus's looking...

Gus's BBQ - South Pasadena offers a wide array of barbeque meats, flavors, and "styles." Surely, there's something for everyone! The quality of food is high, the service is good, and the prices are fair. Moreover, the establishment appears to be extremely clean. The staff is friendly and professional, and there is strong evidence of good management in every part of their operation. Loved it, and eager to return, "early and often."

Our server was so wonderfully pleasant. Everything was delicious. We had the Brussels Sprouts, Popcorn Shrimp, and Cornbread for apps. Three (3) of our 4-person party had the St. Louis Spareribs w/ Southern Fried Chicken combo. The ribs were cooked perfectly, so juicy and tender. The de-boned 1/2 fried chicken was crispy and flavorful as always. Great way to celebrate our birthdays. I'm just bummed that inflation has affected the cost all around us.
