Finding diner type restaurants is hard in LA but Shakers has enough variety and an all day breakfast so it works….. great staff and service and good food. Dinner is good too. All the things you’d expect available like meat loaf and burgers. And turkey dinner.
And….they make killer banana nut bread which you get with most meals.

Shakers I like because I can bring my service animal in without a problem. The waiter/server who waited of us was wearing a mask. We thought it was rude because we couldn't understand what he was saying.
Then someone came to our table telling me my animal was not allowed to eat. I bring my service animal with me daily for lunch and dinner. If my dog can't eat I'll walk out and leave.
Train your staff that your only allowed to ask 2 questions. Otherwise it makes good for a lawsuit. Shakers wouldn't be the first.

Zucchini bread is excellent. It comes with my order of Classic Cobb Salad. My husband has ordered Monster Burger. Everything is delicious and we really enjoy our lunch a lot. Thanks to our lovely waitress Sharon!!

I miss the Shakers that used to be in Glendale. And I stumbled upon the Pasadena one just recently and couldn't wait to find an opportunity to drop by. That happened today, I had a tuna melt with sweet potato fries and an Arnold Palmer. I asked them to hold the tartar sauce on the tuna melt, and it was a fine sandwich. One of my favorites. The sweet potato fries were really crispy. And they sent me home with a to-go cup of my drink. The waitress was very sweet and helpful and attentive. It's a great diner.

Easy efficient slightly retro Café. You can tell they have it down to a T. Great service we had breakfast burrito and oatmeal. Both were delicious.
This is my go to for my dog. He loves it and always comes out happy. Is it happy ending? 😉 😂 Either way been there over 5 years now every month.
