Frances Patisserie offers a variety of delicious and fresh desserts. The strawberry shortcake 8 inch is not too sweet and uses no food coloring or artificial flavors. The Chestnut cake is the best in California, with soft and moist cake from Japanese chestnuts. The strawberry napoleon features ripe and juicy strawberries with pastry and filling that cut the sweetness. A 7x7 strawberry napoleon cake has flaky layers and bright red strawberries, with marvelous fruit decoration. The matcha chocolate cake, hazelnut tiramisu, and bear cream puff are all deliciously good, with the bear cream puff generously filled with yummy cream. This French/Japanese/Chinese style bakery offers mini cake slices, creme puff, tiramisu, and other cake flavors, with larger cakes available by order. The shop is simple inside and out, with no seats to sit inside. Staff are kind and patient. The location is in a busy small plaza across from Bristol Farms, with limited and tight parking.
