Another great dinner at Amoura in South San Francisco!! I took my nephew and his wife to Amoura for dinner. He's a chef who has worked at Nobu, Simon LA and Little Nell in Aspen. His wife was the head pastry chef at the St. Regis in Aspen. They loved the food and the original twist on some traditional favorites. The service and warmth of the staff is always stellar and the dining room is comfortable and the lighting makes the whole experience feel intimate. My nephew and his wife were in town for a wedding and asked if we could come back to Amoura next time they're here!! I'd call that a ringing endorsement!!

Service staff had several large parties starting at the same time and they were a bit harried but very friendly and once food was ordered it arrived hot and was amazing.

My first experience at Amoura was with my wife, her best friend and my mother-in-law. It was my wife's birthday so I really needed the experience to be pleasant. Amoura exceeded mine and my party's expectations. Not only was the environment clean, tranquil and organized, but they also had plenty of parking, making accessing the restaurant on a busy Saturday evening simple. I definitely will be recommending this place to friends and family.

Amoura Restaurant has such a cozy and charming atmosphere, the staff were all very friendly and attentive. The food was exceptionally good, and the portions were perfect. It was a wonderful evening from when we stepped in until we left. Plenty of parking near the restaurant too.

I needed a reservation relatively close to a customer office location for a business dinner. Amoura had great ratings and reviews, and looked yummy. The entire dinner, people in our party repeatedly told me what a great choice I had made and how incredible the menu looked and food was. We had a separate room that ended up getting quite warm and when we mentioned it, the staff immediately got the air going and checked in a bit after to make sure we were comfortable. The staff was gracious and knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. I highly recommend this place!

Nice ambiance and excellent service. We started with the mezze platter and marinated olives. The fresh baked pita was fabulous, classic hummus was smooth and flavorful and olives were so good. The roasted carrot and avocado salad was fresh and delicious! It maybe could have used a soupçon more acid and salt, but was delicious and a hearty portion. Kefta beef/lamb kabob and chicken kabobs were good. The sauces with both fell a little flat, the yogurt sauce with the chicken was more flavorful than the tahini sauce with the kefta. Excellent spirits menu with great “house cocktails”, good wine by the glass options. The lemon dessert, can’t remember the name, was the perfect ending, light and not too sweet, thank to Jacob D! Any minor complaints I had with the food were quickly forgotten due to the excellent service. Ample parking, easy in and out.

We were impressed with everything at Amoura in South San Francisco. Lighting was just right. Not noisy! Service was outstanding. Cocktails were unique - and tailored to our non-sweet tastes. Falafel was the best we have ever had. Excellent hummus and babaganough. Tabouleh was superb! My wife's lamb kebabs were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Very succulent. My lamb shank (which seems to be a popular item at this place) was meat-falling-off-the bone good. Baklava was very good. And the price was surprisingly reasonable. This place is worth a visit!
