We enjoyed our time at the restaurant. The food was delicious. The waitress waiter were friendly and helpful. It was little hard to find. I was glad the restaurant had parking

Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Best Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food in a long, long time. Service was authentically friendly with just the right amount of attention. We started with the avocado and roasted carrots salad which included Persian cucumbers. A real taste treat. One of us had the mixed grill kebab and the other the other the lamb tagine. Both were perfectly prepared and plated. We will be back!

We went in the evening. The atmosphere is cozy with soft warm lighting at each table. The potato bread was warm, crispy on the outside, and pillowy soft on the inside. Paired excellently with the dips. The avocado carrot salad is tasty but filling! (There's what seems to be a whole avocado in there). We had the lamb tagine and the chicken supreme. The lamb was tender and flavourful. The rice was good just by itself 😄. The chicken was a pleasant surprise — it appeared to be a cut that included breast and some dark meat, and the breast was succulent and tender. The veggies were not an afterthought and were grilled and seasoned well. Overall exceeded our expectations. Pricey, but worth a visit if it's in your budget. We plan to return.

There is no better Mediterranean restaurant in either San Francisco or on the peninsula. Amoura is a step above everyone else. . Their new chef does an excellent job, and their hummus is to die for. Everything I've had there has been fabulous. It's a family run business and you should try it out.

Exceptional food and service! We loved the smoked potato bread and whipped feta and pita and muhammara as starters. For mains, the lamb tagine and roasted branzino were amazing! Also, the date cake is perfect too. This place is a hidden gem.

Fresh and delicious! We were very happy to know the homemade falafel is gluten free. Kafta Kebab was outstanding. Excellent service - We were running late for our reservation and they were kind and accommodating.

Another great dinner at Amoura in South San Francisco!! I took my nephew and his wife to Amoura for dinner. He's a chef who has worked at Nobu, Simon LA and Little Nell in Aspen. His wife was the head pastry chef at the St. Regis in Aspen. They loved the food and the original twist on some traditional favorites. The service and warmth of the staff is always stellar and the dining room is comfortable and the lighting makes the whole experience feel intimate. My nephew and his wife were in town for a wedding and asked if we could come back to Amoura next time they're here!! I'd call that a ringing endorsement!!

Warm, friendly service and a great atmosphere with an open view into the kitchen. The kebab was excellent and the lamb outstanding. A truly delightful dining experience and a perfect way to end the day.

Service staff had several large parties starting at the same time and they were a bit harried but very friendly and once food was ordered it arrived hot and was amazing.
