First of all, it's just fun to eat in an old bank that has retained the sensibility of the former occupant, while still making it acceptable to diners. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. The only thing that fell a little bit for me was the Caesar salad salad, because it didn't quite have the taste that I was expecting. But the pasta and the fish that I had were great. The cappelini Pomodoro is special. The service is always outstanding. It's convenient to park and convenient to get to. Check it out.
Friendly service and mouthwatering food! Filet mignon with blue cheese crumble was one of the “specials” and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is fun considering it's a converted bank. Looking forward to next time!
This was our visit and we were delighted by the flavors, freshness and preparation. The service matched. Mehmet was friendly, welcoming and attentive. Our reservation at 7 meant no crowds and the noise level was moderate - we could hear ourselves without shouting! Parking was reasonably close. The decor could use some refreshing, but don't lose sight of the delicious food!
The interior of the restaurant brings you back to happier times. The menu has a perfect selection for all appetites. The swordfish was phenomenal seared to perfection. The wine selection was excellent and the service was silent and awesome.
Our first visit and pleasantly impressed. Very attentive Staff and the food was excellent. Parking was a bit difficult as I currently have difficulty walking. We will definitely return!
Fantastic food, great ambience, phenomenal service. Really felt like a special evening. Will come again for sure!! And even better that it's close to SSF BART and SFO--great place to meet!
Andiamo In Banco is a secret gem in downtown South San Francisco. The food is always fresh, creative and delicious. Wine list is very good too!
Our main reason for choosing this restaurant was location. We were meeting with a couple who just flew into SFO, and this made for great convenience for them and us. Little did we realize we were about to stumble across this amazing gem. As a party of 7, we all had the Tasting Menu. Several of us had the wine pairing as well. Every course was fantastic. Beet salad, ravioli with mushroom cream sauce, short rib, and tiramisu. Literally people in our party were licking their forks to get every last bit of the mushroom sauce from the ravioli. Service was warm, attentive, but not obtrusive. Every request was filled with professionalism and courtesy. Definitely recommend, and plan to return ourselves. One item to note: OpenTable's address link to maps takes you to San Bruno instead of South San Francisco. Thankfully we noticed ahead, but it could have been a disaster. Reported to OpenTable and Andiamo In Banca, so hopefully it will be changed,
Enjoyed the NY steak, the special that day was Swordfish with shrimp and ravioli- delicious!
Excellent Service. Superb food. Great selection of wines and cocktails 5-Stars all around !!

Overall a good experience for early dinner service. We will definitely come back for another meal!
Met some out-of-town friends there before they flew out the next morning. All the food was delicious, including desserts! Lamb shank, papardelli with shrimp, gnocchi with gorgonzola cream sauce, and bruschetta were all excellent. Desserts - tiramisu and cheesecake were also delicious. Service was impeccable. Will definitely be coming back!
Absolutely excellent. I was staying at a local hotel to make an early flight the next morning, and was looking for a great, quick dinner. Boy did they deliver. I had the brussels sprouts and rack of lamb. Excellent choices. Normally I only like brussels sprouts if they're charred really well. However, the flavor was incredible. Beautifully presented. The lamb was three large lollipops (not the tiny but also delicious australian ones) which I shamelessly picked up to enjoy every nibble. Great mixed veggies on the plate. Not a fan of mashed potatoes, and would have asked for them to be substituted had I realized they were included, so I didn't have them. Service was super quick and attentive. My only suggestion would be to shut the door (a couple flies were flying around) and turn the air conditioning on. This is a nice upscale place with the food and prices to match. That one thing would have made it even better. But still, five stars all the way. Totally had to walk through a somewhat uncomfortable area to get to this side of the interstate, and it was worth it. But maybe next time I'll catch an Uber. In case you're doing the same, there were no scary folks seen, just a pretty run down environment that puts your head on a swivel.
The food was very good. They did put a citrus twist on the crème brûlée, which I was not a fan of besides that everything was great.
Italian food in a bank? Yes, delicious Italian food in a bank. Everything we ordered was super delicious. The complimentary bread dipped in oil and vinegar was a great start. We ordered the roasted brussel sprouts drizzled in balsamic vinegar for an appetizer and it did not disappoint. For our main courses we ordered the rigatoni alla carcareta and the daily special of lobster ravioli with shrimp. Both were equally delicious. Dessert consisted of creme Brule and tiramisu which we both loved. This place is a must try and we will be coming back.
