WARNING!!! DON’T ATTEMPT TO EAT HERE! YOUR FOOD MIGHT NEVER COME!!! On Sat 2/25/23, we order our food via QR Code at 1:15pm, waited over an hour and our food never came. I walked up to the server (curly dark hair) who was smoking a cigarette in the back to ask him where our food was, he denied he worked at Butters Brunch even though I clearly saw him drop off food to another table. Then I see him walk back into the Butters Brunch kitchen. Rude! At this point, I demanded a refund. Don’t waste your time with this place.

Incredibly tasty food! Too bad they only have outdoor seating

Great brunch spot with no wait. Simple location, good parking, nice outdoor seating. Got the salmon hash and a belgian waffle. Fresh handmade cream was amazing. Definitely going back.

Butters Brunch is on the patio of Spruce Cafe in SSF. They have a very limited menu of waffles, hash and salad so know that there won't be many options to choose from. Seating is outside only and has a roof area so you don't have to sit directly under the sun if you don't want. Service is okay, there's just one person who checks you in and then it's pretty quiet. Savory Waffle - bacon was delicious, waffle was pretty standard. I think given the area, it's a good spot if you just want a waffle and don't want to wait. Sweet Waffle - I liked this one a lot. The roasted peach and slightly sweet whipped cream was perfect. Overall it's a chill spot for breakfast/brunch - you can order coffee inside at Spruce Cafe and bring it outside to enjoy with your meal.

We were excited to try a new brunch spot in SSF. Unfortunately, it was disappointing all around. They offer outdoor seating and we got a table quick. Seating was ok, but maybe could use the outdoor heaters. You order and pay thru a QR code. Menu choices were very limited (literally 4-5 items). I thought it was weird that you have to put the tip before you even get service. We shouldn't have even bothered with the tip...the hostess brought us water but afterward didn't see her again. Service was minimal, no one checked in on us. The food was overpriced and underwhelming. We ordered one coffee and there were no refills. The waffle had one egg and 4 small slices of bacon. The smoked fish with hash was really just unseasoned roasted potatoes and some smoked salmon. Nothing to write mom about...

Went back for another brunch and got to try their sweet waffle with new seasonal fruit. The new in season pears were great and I think even better than the peaches I had last time.

BACON! I have been ordering from Butters Brunch through Door Dash for 2 times now. I have never physically been to this restaurant yet. My co workers and I love the Belgium Waffle with Soft Poached Egg and Cured Bacon. It arrived really well packaged and it was a large portion size. I also tried the hazelnut cake and that was pretty good too. One of my favorite brunch places right now. Docking one star cause my coffee always doesn't get delivered or included with my order.

I came here for brunch on Sunday, and there was no wait! The weather was perfect, so the outdoor seating didn't bother me. It's also covered, so it's a little nicer. You order from the QR code, and the menu is quite limited. I had the potato hash with smoked fish, and it was so good! I would probably opt without the Creme fraiche if I order it again because it wasn't mixed very well with the dish. But the potatoes and egg were cooked perfectly, and they give quite a bit of smoked salmon.

Not worth the visit although the employees are nice. The menu only has 4 actual menu items, and there's only outdoor seating with the overhang exposing more than half the tables to direct sunlight. Their kitchen is inside Spruce the coffee shop it's in front of. Half an hour passed after ordering without anything said to us, so we decided to ask about our food. The server said he'd check on it and came out with our food after another 10 min. - Belgium waffle with soft poached egg and cured bacon: $20 for a soggy a** waffle with one egg and bacon? Should've passed but also there were no other options xP - potato hash with smoked fish: it was just potatoes with a poached egg and salmon so nothing special. The salmon's flavor was pretty good though - hazelnut cake: this is just a pastry from Spruce but it was decent

I love getting brunch soooooo much but because I'm not an early riser we don't partake as often as I would like since all the delicious brunch places in the city have AT LEAST an hour wait on the weekend. Cue Butters! It was such a breath of fresh air to come here at peak brunch time on a Saturday, find free parking right in front of the restaurant, and have our pick of outdoor seating. Sigh. It was amazing! City people know the brunch struggle is real so this was a lovely change. Butters has only outdoor seating from what I could tell but they did a nice job with the layout. We didn't feel cramped and the Butter Sign and decor gave us a SoCal LA vibe feel. We were also only a handful of people here! It seems like the word isn't out quite yet about this place. Prices were a bit higher than I would expect for SSF, however, the portion sizes were decent and everything we had was very well executed and tasty! The roasted peach on the waffle was heavenly and they did not skimp on the amount of homemade whipped cream. We also got the smoked salmon potato hash with poached egg and this was super filling with all the potatoes and I loved the fresh herbs they threw in there. Definitely takes the dish to another level. Service was friendly! Literally no complaints except I hope they can expand their menu! They have like 5 dishes to choose from with 3 of them being variations of their Belgian waffle so it's a little slim pickings.

4 stars for the food outside - waffle with peach & whipped cream was served quickly and was devine (crispy & fluffy)! Bacon was too thick & undercooked for our liking but some people may like it.2 stars for the service and set up.We stood in line inside the bakery waiting to be seated only to be told that we needed to find the hidden Host stand iterally tucked behind a partition (who does that)? No signage, noone inside making sure the line was for bakery guests only.Only 4 drink options outside. So if you drink tea, mochas etc. you have to go back inside and wait in that line again. Maddening!Of the 5 employees we saw while in line.. Not one got eye contact with us, let alone greeted, smiled or said hello. The one I politely asked a question of made it clear I was bothering her. Rude!I would love to see them hire & train better because I'd like to come back for another delicious $20 waffle.
