Couldn't get seated outside, waited past our reservation time just for them to seat two other parties outside and then reluctantly sat us outside. They did seem understaffed but our party of 8 seemed to get the least attention.
My new happy hour spot! Lately the family has been going once a week, especially during fall soft/baseball. I consider it as bonding time. Monday thru Fridays are happy hour until 9 PM! The waiters are super nice and helpful! Appetizers are super yummy! Our favorites are the flautas and the nachos!
I love this restaurant and I was so disappointed! Came here for my husband's birthday started out being disappointed because they wouldn't let us get a blended mango margarita in the large glass, which was one of our favorite things. We ended up just ordering a pitcher instead. Ordered for dinners, a soup and an appetizer plate. The appetizer and soup came after our main course. Tortilla soup did not come with any tortilla chips or cheese had to ask for it. The flautas were basically empty. You can literally see through them. Even though I made a reservation on open table and stated it was a birthday and asked for any birthday stuff it comes with. I had to ask for the dessert and the server rolled their eyes at me and gave us a frost bitten melted vanilla ice cream. The worst experience l've ever had at this place. They're going downhill and I will probably never come back again. One very sad customer
Though I have been a South City Chevys fan for years, this was the first time I went to brunch there. Chevys had just introduced their all you can eat champagne brunch. I thought the kitchen did a great job at execution of dishes and the variety of food selection was quite good. A couple of dishes, the enchiladas, were not as successful as they sat out on warming trays, they dried out. But, that was a small flaw with the number of dishes there were to select from. The taco and omelet bar was a nice addition. There were so many dessert selection, it was very impressive. I'm going back Sunday😋
Long wait food was ok, but very small portions for $25-$30 plates. Many others around us complained about the service as well. Staff wasn't friendly. Won't be coming back unfortunately
I had a great experience here, the staff were very nice and helpful. The food here is also great a long with the many different choices of drink. Would totally recommend this location to my family and friends!
I love Going to Chevys great service and hospitality and I always enjoy going there and Manager Jimmy is Amazing polite attitude and Jorge is a great server always with a smile taking care of everyone
We've been going for a few months with NO issues
IN PERSON DINING for the most part.
The take out/pickup is an issue. Firstly, it takes 5-10 mins for the host to even come up to the front.
Once they do, then they scramble and repeatedly ask what the order was. I've always waited to go in until the pickup time or even after, and it's never ready! Today, they completely messed up my order, and it's just so frustrating. Fortunately, I was able to get a refund, but that was after asking multiple times— while they were pretty much refusing and telling me to drive 30 mins back to the restaurant to get more food. It's not my fault they messed up, if my refund isn't processed by the 7-day mark. I will be calling again.
Bartender Ben is the best
The place is awesome! 😎 Daniel the bartender is the best! He was quick & efficient with servicing me and my friend. He got our food out quickly and our drinks came out perfect! Nayelly was also very nice and quick to seat and service us. Made it just in time for happy hour so I’m super happy that everything was fast. I love chevys and this one has been one of the better ones. Happy hour every day 3-9 and Sundays are 14$ bottomless mimosas. I’m always here and will keep coming back!

Food was lousy this time. Ordered the steak fajitas but when the ordered came out it didn't sizzling at all and also it was not hot. Very disappointed. Food prices really went up and expensive to eat at Chevy now. Not happy at all.
It's been years since I have been to chevys. Their food is good, their drinks (margaritas) is very good, but their service is a little lacking. We ordered: fresh guacamole, grill salmon, fish tacos, 5 items grill, slow roasted carnitas and 5 items (enchiladas, chili relleno). For drinks: famous margaritas, and watermelon candy shot. Would I come back, for the food and drinks, not so much for the service. Starting with the hostess ( man) , needs a little bit more training.
If not for the manager stepping in- this would have been a very very disappointing experience. Unfriendly welcome, unpleasant ambiance, loud blaring music, furniture old and tattered, long wait for food-served cold and dry. Sadly, will not be returning.
Food was cold and tasted old. The beans tasted like they were straight from a can. servers look like they did not want to be there. and the worst part they add the highest tip on your tab. review your receipt before you pay. unfortunately we not be returning.
Chevy's would not accept the $16 OpenTable dining reward for payment of the check despite us following the instructions to a tee (RSVP'd using Opentable with the Dining Reward link). The server took our printed Dining Reward and returned telling us they could not redeem it.
