I have been to chevys many times but the visit yesterday was a total disappointment, chips were bad , the stuff that I order was absolutely awful, there was four of us and out of the four only my wife who order two Chile rellenos was happy, I don't think I will ever go there again
Paula, the manager, was accommodating and helpful. The staff was awesome: Alexa, Melissa and Catherine. Thank you!
Food at best was a 4 out of 10 . Most of the food dishes were like warm nothing was hot except the best part of the buffet the omelette station 👍Beans wer not edible rice was crunchy just mess . And the chairs full metal no cushions at all . The service below standard. The bartender had absolutely no idea how to make a decent drink the Michelada I ordered tasting so bitter and nasty 🤮 I had to order an extra beer on the side just to dilute the nasty taste it left ,wife ordered a mango margarita that was nasty also just left it on the table. The only good thing about this place is there placement of tvs to watch the game .
Food is okay but the service by our server was very poor. She took our order and never came back again. We were never asked for drink Refils. They made kids food wrong. Sampler had wrong items. We had to ask for tortillas, rice and beans for our fajitas. Finale was when we asked them to run our open table credit, that when she came and told us she can't their system is down. Which we know she lied. It's a master card that you manually run. What is hard about that?
The atmosphere was perfect for Christmas. Everyone there was very nice and helpful and the service was wonderful. They were on top of everything and we're so kind. They never let any of the food run out for more than just one minute and we're right on top of it, it was such a good time and such a good break from having to cook this year. I will definitely go back next year for the same type of fun experience. We were a large party of mine ranging from ages 79 all the way to 11 and it was so much fun. We are all so glad we did this.
Enchilada Verde was excellent! I'm sad that so many other Chevy Fresh Mex restaurants have closed down. Their food is very good.
Couldn't get seated outside, waited past our reservation time just for them to seat two other parties outside and then reluctantly sat us outside. They did seem understaffed but our party of 8 seemed to get the least attention.
My new happy hour spot! Lately the family has been going once a week, especially during fall soft/baseball. I consider it as bonding time. Monday thru Fridays are happy hour until 9 PM! The waiters are super nice and helpful! Appetizers are super yummy! Our favorites are the flautas and the nachos!
I love this restaurant and I was so disappointed! Came here for my husband's birthday started out being disappointed because they wouldn't let us get a blended mango margarita in the large glass, which was one of our favorite things. We ended up just ordering a pitcher instead. Ordered for dinners, a soup and an appetizer plate. The appetizer and soup came after our main course. Tortilla soup did not come with any tortilla chips or cheese had to ask for it. The flautas were basically empty. You can literally see through them. Even though I made a reservation on open table and stated it was a birthday and asked for any birthday stuff it comes with. I had to ask for the dessert and the server rolled their eyes at me and gave us a frost bitten melted vanilla ice cream. The worst experience l've ever had at this place. They're going downhill and I will probably never come back again. One very sad customer
Though I have been a South City Chevys fan for years, this was the first time I went to brunch there. Chevys had just introduced their all you can eat champagne brunch. I thought the kitchen did a great job at execution of dishes and the variety of food selection was quite good. A couple of dishes, the enchiladas, were not as successful as they sat out on warming trays, they dried out. But, that was a small flaw with the number of dishes there were to select from. The taco and omelet bar was a nice addition. There were so many dessert selection, it was very impressive. I'm going back Sunday😋

Long wait food was ok, but very small portions for $25-$30 plates. Many others around us complained about the service as well. Staff wasn't friendly. Won't be coming back unfortunately
I had a great experience here, the staff were very nice and helpful. The food here is also great a long with the many different choices of drink. Would totally recommend this location to my family and friends!
I love Going to Chevys great service and hospitality and I always enjoy going there and Manager Jimmy is Amazing polite attitude and Jorge is a great server always with a smile taking care of everyone
We've been going for a few months with NO issues
IN PERSON DINING for the most part.
The take out/pickup is an issue. Firstly, it takes 5-10 mins for the host to even come up to the front.
Once they do, then they scramble and repeatedly ask what the order was. I've always waited to go in until the pickup time or even after, and it's never ready! Today, they completely messed up my order, and it's just so frustrating. Fortunately, I was able to get a refund, but that was after asking multiple times— while they were pretty much refusing and telling me to drive 30 mins back to the restaurant to get more food. It's not my fault they messed up, if my refund isn't processed by the 7-day mark. I will be calling again.
Bartender Ben is the best
