Sonesta Select San Francisco Airport Oyster Point Waterfront

Not too far from downtown, but it does take 30 minutes plus to drive.

Me and my family stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. We used the amenities gym, pool, and breakfast all that were easily assessable. Would definitely recommend the location, it’s very walkable and there’s a lot of great views.

The hotel is very clean. The bed is comfortable. There isn't a ton of extra space l to move around in. No drawers to put your clothes in. Very easy to get here from the airport. I have no idea if they have a pool or have a breakfast buffet as none of these ammenities were mentioned at check-in.

The staff here are the freaking best. They all have such a nice welcoming attitude and kind demeanor. I love Aastha and Gio soooo much. They’re such a joy to see and talk to. Very helpful. They accommodated all of my requests with a smile. The room was great, the location amazing, the staff friendly - what more could you ask for?

Mark Ivan the receptionist is a big help during our stay. He is able to accomodate our request specially when switching rooms. Beds are comfortable to sleep, bathroom is clean.

My order got delivered at the lobby at night and got disappeared within hours. Management is taking no responsibility and said CCTV don’t cover that area. How is an open lobby area right next to reception not being covered? I got no compensation or even a few candies to make me feel better about it instead they blame the fault on me. :)

The key system was down when we arrived. The staff worked hard to manually get us into our room
The exercise facility is not what was posted on the add - Hodge podge of weights and 2 older benches are the only thing in the weight room. Bummer

High price per room plus high price for parking. Soft bed, great WiFi & Heater. Coffee filter were too big for the coffee maker. Nice and quiet though

I stay here a lot and never have any problems and I have to say your privacy is important to this hotel and staff everyone always greets you with a smile no matter your your budget very clean and very hospitable

Absolutely filthy establishment. Garbage blowing into the bay from open air cans in the parking lot to stray hairs found amongst the sheets. Ick. Ew.

¡Qué terrible! The people at the breakfast bar are terrible. Rooms are dirty. The van is constantly late. DO NOT stay here. The showers are absolutely filthy! ¡Qué asco!

My “clean” towels had pubic hair on them. This hotel was super gross.

I’d love to give this hotel a better review because the front desk is typically very nice and rooms are usually nice and a good deal. However recently I got a room with no air conditioning and nothing much was done about it. I was given a fan that unfortunately was so loud, I think it was the type of fans used to help dry the carpets quickly. I also received a voucher that I was told I could get breakfast with. Well no breakfast, just a muffin & coffee, even though they do serve a breakfast. Why not a breakfast? Not everyone wants a sweet treat as a breakfast and the restaurant people weren’t particularly friendly about it either. Definitely will avoid them in the future. Why even tell you the voucher is for a free breakfast when really it’s not? Since I’d left my room early, I decided to return to my room only to discover I was already locked out even though the manager headed me back my key saying I could. I just left. I’m in SFO somewhat often and have another reservation here, wondering whether I should find another place or give it another go

Awful experience to an awful trip. This occurred in October 2025. We checked in late after a delay on our flight left is SanFran overnight. The front desk employee was asleep when we walked in, and fell asleep when talking to us. It took over an hour for him to find our reservation, and we were charged 3 times for one nights stay.

I’m sure the hotel is nicer then what we experienced; however, besides the rooms being clean and well kept I have nothing positive to say.

We were unable to get a refund from the hotel, the manager tried for a couple of days then said “oops I can’t” and called it quits.
