Love this place. It’s actually the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had by far and our waitress Nisreen had perfect customer service.

We came here after a long flight and were really hungry. The service was amazing and the restaurant was very clean, the restrooms were clean, and the food was delicious too! So glad we got a chance to dine here.

We recently hosted our engagement party at Layalena, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we booked, the team made us feel like we were in the best hands. The venue was beautifully set up, warm, and welcoming — everything looked elegant and thoughtfully done.
Sameer was incredible — he offered genuine, helpful suggestions about the menu as if he were planning his own event, never trying to upsell anything. His recommendation to include shawarma as an appetizer was a total crowd-pleaser — our guests are still talking about it!
Mariam, the event coordinator, is an absolute star. She’s organized, calm, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. She even stepped in to coordinate with the florist when she didn’t have to — truly a level of service that’s rare to find. Her attention to detail and professionalism made planning a breeze.
The food was delicious and generously served — everyone was well-fed and happy. The entire experience exceeded our expectations, and we’re so grateful to the Layalena team for making our special day unforgettable.
Highly recommend Layalena for any event — we would absolutely book with them again!

Amazing food and service. I loved the lamb.
Delicious food, normal service, normal atmosphere, normal coffee, you have orange juice with ice - I didn't expect them to add ice.

The service and atmosphere is great. The food is okay - kababs were dry, hard, and undercooked. We had a large order for six people and left a tip, but realized that they added another 20% service fee, which is totally unacceptable as they never mentioned about it ahead of time, and it was totally undeserved. Never coming back to this place again.

Horrible food that looks nice.
Most of the items looked like they were on the menu for show instead of actually being meant to be eaten. The only good item on the menu was the shawarmas. If you want anything else, just eat ANYWHERE else.
Ordered the Hummus with meat and the foul.
The hummus with meat tasted decent but the meat was flooded in olive oil.
The foul was by far the worst foul I’ve ever had the displeasure of eating. It was dry, extremely chunky, and tasteless. They added a weird yogurt on top of it which was extremely bitter and contrasted horribly with the blandness of the foul.
I couldn’t even eat more than a few bites before I just put my fork down in disappointment
The bathrooms were disgusting. The faucet and urinal are right next to each other with an extremely small divided between them. The divider barely helps privacy. The sink had a nice a faucet though.

As a Muslim, I try to be cautious about where I eat. I noticed some symbolism at this restaurant that resembles the one eye Dajjal, which holds deep negative meaning in our faith. Out of respect for my beliefs, I personally don’t feel comfortable eating here. I also have concerns about whether the food is truly halal, so I prefer to avoid it. May Allah guide us all to what is right.

Came here because they are open late and was so impressed by the food and the service. Has been renamed so don’t be confused if the sign does not say Layalena anymore.
