We have been going since 1993 and its changed little. We like it because its unpretentious food served in what you would call French country style if you don't know Basque cuisine. 5 course meals for dinner and the specials are usually the ones we choose. The service is great, we know most of the wait staff. We were sorry to see Anna go if you knew her. A cultural icon. Full bar. We were staying at a hotel near SFO. We were looking for a good place near, and found the Basque Cultural Center Restaurant in So San Francisco. The restaurant was in a building that had banquet facilities and some sort of sports field. I think it is a club, but the restaurant is open to the public. We had a wonderful lunch, a great bottle of wine and shared a typical Basque dessert. The prices were very reasonable and the service was great. This comfort food is just like Grandma would make, if she were Basque or French. Just hearty food well-prepared, not pretentious. Full bar, reasonable prices for wine and alcohol. They want you to have a good time. But we were knocked out by the classic cuisine executed very well. Sweet service.
