If you want a quality diner meal then Gunters is the place! Love coming here on an early morning with my girlfriend. I absolutely love their breakfast items especially their Mexican breakfast. So much food but so good and the pricing is great as well. Very good service and very friendly making you feel welcomed. The ambiance of the restaurant is very homey meaning everyone is usually there with there family or friends and just enjoying the food.

Second time I came here, I ordered eggs over easy and they came well done, hash browns were crispy on one side and soggy on the other. The waitress took me noticing this and she took it personally.

They have great food at low prices, the restaurant is closing soon because the whole mall is scheduled to be demolished and redesigned. No idea when.
Do not come here if you want to lose weight. Omelets were served very quickly after we ordered and were accompanied by sour dough toast and hash browns, delicious. They serve their butter with a side of toast. Super friendly and smiling staff :) Need to try other items next time.

One of the best restaurants in SSF. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I had the super gunter omelette with hash browns , it was bursting with flavor coming from the cheese , the meats and the mushrooms and onions . Then the pancakes are very tasty and fluffy. Where else can you go to have great food that they serve. Must come back to try the lunch and dinner menu. Guaranteed to be satisfying.Vegetarian options: They offer salads. I'm pretty sure they accommodateKid-friendliness: This restaurant accommodates all ages . I noticed they have a lot of elderly people visiting this restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: A lot of room to accommodate.

This gem of a restaurant deserves a standing ovation. A literal orchestra of a team, the customer service and hospitality goes beyond expectations. Our server was amazing, super friendly and did a wonderful job with explaining our questions regarding the menu. My bf ordered the Monte Cristo- a whole sandwich filled with turkey and ham, smacked dabbed in between three thick slices of Texas French toast and melted Swiss cheese, dusted with powdered sugar, served alongside a bowl of fruit with a cup of maple syrup to slather over this unique breakfast creation. Biting into this will change your life, because you haven't had anything like this before. If you're feeling ballsy and want to shake up your emotions, order the Monte Cristo. Never have I encountered anything like this in my history of breakfast/brunch menus. I ordered the New York steak and eggs for my meal, steak cooked medium, over-easy eggs with a side of hash browns and sourdough toast. What lw shocked me was the option to have a pancake in place of the sourdough. Like this is unheard of, lol. Anyway, I noticed these folks butter your toast for you! AMAZING! I'm telling you, I went for the toast first. Once our server set the plate in front of me, I picked up that slice of sourdough and bit into that bad boy, and WOOH!- thee P E R F E C T amount of crunch. I knew at that moment, I needed to write this review. The hash browns also were cooked at the perfect temperature, because the crunch on this was beyond as well. All the while, our server was checking in to see if everything was great and/or if we needed more coffee. Amazing experience and will definitely be returning to Gunter's again soon! lol

Not 5, but a solid 4 stars restaurant. Good size portions, staff working to serve and please, food prepared promptly. Atmosphere is not great, but it's good. Prices are higher than before the pandemic, but what isn't. Still a good ROI. Veteran/military discount, now only during weekdays. Much appreciated.
