We have lunch on Sunday, the usual busy time. We have to wait a while. Food is good.

This place has genuine Wok Hey! They serve authentic Chinese food with twists you won't find anywhere else. I mean clay pot spareribs with peppers (delicious) but with preserved olives pieces- - - (over the top)! House fried rice was exceptional, sea food and black truffles? Gai Lan with scallops yum!

Great Dim Sum! Watch the planes land at SFO. Great paved Bayside walk just outside.
Very Cantonese wedding banquet vibes. Authentic dim sum.

Don’t let the name of the restaurant fool you, the food sucks, all the Dimsum are pre made by other food vendors, all they do is heat it up and serve

The food only just arrived but the waiter already gave us the bill before we even got to eat the food, but after we finish eating, the workers told us to leave right away. We won’t be coming back. The worst restaurant we ever been too.

HL Peninsula is one of my regular dim sum spots.
We always get the classics like ha gow, siu mai but mix it up with specials unique to here like their “Crispy Wild Rice Noodle Rolls with Shrimp” and “Pandan Custard Tarts”.
The wait can be long during weekends and holidays. So be prepared to get here early. They don’t really take reservations.
Service is quick, they get your orders out quickly, and staff refills your tea often.
They automatically charge a 16% service charge that is taxable (CA tax law). It’s on the menu but make sure to take note.
