Great Carnitas, tacos, burritos with a great variety of meats.

La Tapatia is the spot for a burrito in South San Francisco! It is also a Mexican market so you can get some grocery shopping done too! The chips are homemade as well, I noticed people picking them up by the bag! Walking to the back is where you order and the menu is very detailed! I was helped with ease and the pro move is to try the carnitas! Great service and everything is clean and well kept. I also got an extra hot sauce and it was smackin! There is no seating so expect to take it to-go. I ate at the park and this super burrito was amazing! They definitely perfected the burrito.

Huge chorizo breakfast burrito, flavors on point. Seemed to also have great selection of in house made stuff staff was delightful. No photo cause was too busy enjoying.

Ummm wow. Delicious breakfast burrito. Carnitas are legit. Great way to start my morning after dropping my wife off for an early flight. Their habanero salsa is lovely and has such a nice kick.

My wife and her family who are from South City will proudly rep this place as the best burrito shop in the Bay (y también ellos son Michoacanas). Phenomenal every time I’ve had it, I have to agree. Always quick and friendly service too.

food was top tier

It's a classic joint. Best Refried Beans, carnitas and tortillas money can buy!

I’m from the Central Valley and these are the worst tacos I’ve ever had. That “guac” tasted gross. The meat was all fat. The added pico + lettuce like it’s taco bell.

Great burritos and tasty hot sauce!

Great food, but prices are kinda sorta way too high and the older guy (I think he’s the owner) creeps me out. Stares too much. Touches my hand. Tries to convince me to learn Spanish. I hate going there alone if he’s there.
