Is a good Hidden Gem of South City. There are lots of taquerias, and some of them have their own niche, Los metates is no different. This place makes their own sauces, Albeit the variety of salsas is not so vast as what you would say a Pancho Villa would have, but the food quality of the meats and how they prepare everything is second-to-none! It's a very good high quality taqueria!!!

Very delicious food. I had the fish ceviche, and it was one of the most delicious and freshest that I've ever tried at a restaurant. Another day, I had a steak burrito and added shrimp and everything was fresh and light. Both times I was very pleased with the quality and taste.

What a treat! And whoa to that green salsa! I loved it! Great quesadilla de pollo and the serving is enough for two. A special treat is their open air facilities that is big enough for an event! Overall all was great. Definitely a place to come and enjoy a mellow ambiance, a welcoming group of attentive servers and yummy Mexican Food. #TheBrokerWithAHeart
