I ordered through Uber eats. I do not recommend. I asked for utensils and napkins in the special instructions... I received none of those things. I had to go to the hotel front dest and beg for utensils so I could eat my food. I ordered the shrimp dumplings, which were fine, nothing spectacular. I also ordered Hong Kong style pan fried noodles, my go to at most Chinese restaurants. This was so bland, it barely had any flavor. I had to spare one of my two soy sauce packets to try to kick some flavor into it... It didn't work. Very disappointed. After all the fees and tip I was out about $45 for TWO items and you couldn't spare some napkins and utensils so I could eat my bland food. Smh.

KUDOS. VERY tasty items, large portions. (1) Shredded pork with string beans (sliced thin, not shredded). (2) Dragon butter beef. (3) Combination chow mein. All highly recommended. There are many items from which to choose.Reasonable prices: Four items plus rice=$59.Quick service despite many take-out orders.Helpful, friendly staff.CHALLENGES. Very cold air-conditioning.Well-worth the detour, the parking and the very rainy weather in early March 2024.Wheelchair accessibility: Open spaces between tables; easy access.

I placed my order to be delivered at 6:02 pm Friday February 2, 2024. I was told 30 minutes the time is 7:37 pm and still no food. I called and yes they have my order but did not prepare it and argued with me about what website I placed order on, which was the only website for the business. Then I am told they will make it but cant quarantee the time of delivery. They close soon!! Is it just me or am I crazy that customer service has completely gone so far out of our society? The expectation of businesses to get tips, good reviews takes priority over the knowledge that CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS PRIORITY since without us they have no business. I work in the food service industry and I could never imagine treating customers so poorly by ignoring them then expect that they must accept whatever offer to correct the issue, when the only response should be "Im so sorry we will make your food immediately and WE will deliver it right away" and maybe not charge for one of the dishes of a $75.00 order.
Oh my goodness, think I just found another favorite Chinese Restaurant. Just got my Mongolian Beef with the Basil Chicken and it was bomb diggity. Very delicious ? Honestly. I could eat there all the time lol.

We've eaten here many times throughout our 30 years living in the area.There's been may owners & recently when we ordered,food was pretty much as it's always been 'good' ,but not spectacular! Prices have gone sky high over the years,but their food is still just ok,portions as always are very very good for two people,we always have alot of leftovers.I was disappointed though last time I had the chow mein,it was so bland I probably wouldnt order again.

I ordered takeout of Chicken Chow Mein. The buy one get one a free one deal on Uber Eats and/or Doordash. It's enough for four meals, and the chicken was perfectly cooked in good portions.
This place isn't too bad, but I wouldn't say it's my favorite for Chinese either. I came here yesterday for late lunch and got the wonton noodle soup, yet something seemed to be missing from the broth. I added some hot sauce and seasoning but didn't fix it. I do wish the noodles were thicker and had more wontons as they were so scrumptious. Service was pretty efficient, but ambiance can use work. Although I enjoyed my meal I didn't find it acceptable when a family of three entered and seated themselves at a large table. The staff asked them to move to a smaller table, yet they wouldn't because they are going to order multiple entrées

I was staying at a local Hotel and ordered from New Dragon Garden. I used Uber eats for the service. I paid additional for priority handling and delivery of the food. The app said 30 mins but took over an hr to get the food. The drive was sitting at the restaurant waiting for the food. I called the restaurant and the customer service was pathetic. I ordered hot and sour soup that was pre made and green beans that needed flash frying wok. It took 50 mins to get the food ready to go out the door. When I received the food there was no cutlery. The food was ok but customer service poor.

Place was mobbed on Christmas at ~3pm, not sure if it's one of the only Chinese places open or what. Online ordering system tells you to come get food in 15 minutes, which was not right at all. Would have been much better to come 1 hour later, as we ended up waiting 40 minutes standing there with no communication of how long it would be, despite asking, from the swamped staff. Recovers some stars because the food is good (fairly close taste to "east coast Chinese" if that's what you're looking for; if you want something authentic this probably ain't it but you have infinite to choose from in Millbrae and everywhere else). Next time I'll order and come way later than it says. Will definitely be back for the food!
