I arrived at 5:53 pm on January 24th, expecting to order since the posted closing time is 6:00 pm, but the bar was already closed and I was not served. The employee who assisted me was Karmen.
I understand preparing to close, but shutting down service before the advertised closing time is confusing and frustrating for customers. If the bar stops serving earlier than 6:00 pm, this should be clearly communicated.
Disappointing experience, as I usually enjoy Peet’s Coffee. KARMEN was very sarcastic. She shouldn’t be taking care of customer service.

Even if you place an online order you will still get it 20 to 30 min after...and they will not even apologize for it, instead they'll tell you to not come back. I was told that by a pink purple haired barista, I'll never forget her mistreatment. I've worked many jobs, I was a supervisor for a coffee shop as it is, and trust me I get it. When its busy emotions get riled up, but to treat folks like that is just a big wow. Go to local coffee shops y'all, stop giving companies like this your money who hire careless and uptight staff... also side note, everyone can hear your conversations behind the counter, trust me no one wants to hear about your hangover or talk crap of a customer who just left....unprofessional staff. Peets check on your staff.

I am a loyal Peet’s Coffee customer and would like to report an unpleasant experience at one of your locations.
When I asked an employee named Carmen for the restroom passcode, she told me that the key was lost. During this interaction, I observed Carmen and another employee, Andrew, exchange what appeared to be a sarcastic smile. Shortly afterward, I noticed other customers were able to access the restroom without any issue, and it became clear that the restroom was accessible via a passcode. This made me feel that I was treated inconsistently and unfairly.
I later contacted Peet’s by phone to follow up and asked Carmen for her full name. She responded in a hostile manner and questioned why I needed it. Her tone only became more professional after I explained that I was contacting Peet’s Coffee directly.
Restroom access is an important part of customer service and should not be arbitrarily restricted or inconsistently enforced. Customers deserve respectful, transparent, and equal treatment at all times.
I hope this feedback helps address customer service standards at this location and leads to meaningful improvements.

The customer service is so bad they’re so rude

The barista Carmen was very kind, drink 10/10 absolute chef’s kiss. Was super sweet and let me know I can use another bathroom down the street because they lost the key. However there was also an entitled customer who kept insisting for the bathroom key, super annoying and ruined the vibe. They should have left and used the bathroom somewhere else like a normal person

Not worth going to this location. The customer service is abysmal. You get your drink with a whole side of attitude. Really hoping corporate takes notice, they're losing customers like this.

Had a terrible experience here. Waited over 20 minutes for a chai latte. When I asked if they had missed it, I was told they couldn’t check because they don’t have a screen. She said they go in order. However, I pointed out that the large group of four who came in after me had already received their order, and I had not. She insisted there was nothing she could do. So I went to the cashier and asked for a refund. He couldn’t do it, so she comes to help me, I’m assuming she was the manager not just a barista. She starts to log in when they cal my name, so I go get the drink. They made the wrong drink. I asked for a chai latte and they gave me an iced chai latte. Sorry, yea is hot and I never said iced. If their default is iced, it should say that. The drink was insipid. Should’ve just gotten my cash and left.

The works very rude they didn't and not friendly
9/19/25 around 3pm no line which was great cause I was in a hurry . The young lady that took my order with the fake eyelashes that looked terrible and piercings & dyed hair looked pissed with the most unwelcoming smirk took my order a mocha frappe. I wait 5 minutes and then walk up to the counter to see if my frappe was being blended because I didn't hear anything being blended and the barista who look like her sister ask me if I ordered anythingwith this weird look on her face and me smh 😑replied I ordered a mocha frappe. long story short I get the mocha frappe about 8 minutes and she barely used any ice it turned out to be a half-ass milkshake which didn't have that crushed ice texture that I love I was in such a hurry I didn't even go back to complain about it. Young ladies get another job if you can even make a frappe . How do you mess up a frappe seriously. Peets use to be so good. 😢

Don't waste your time on their tasteless blended latte's, which follows after the tasteless customer service.

This place gets busy. So when it does make sure they take your name or ask for a receipt to confirm your order. Best bet is doing a mobile order.
