The barista Carmen was very kind, drink 10/10 absolute chef’s kiss. Was super sweet and let me know I can use another bathroom down the street because they lost the key. However there was also an entitled customer who kept insisting for the bathroom key, super annoying and ruined the vibe. They should have left and used the bathroom somewhere else like a normal person
This is probably (out of the many Peet's locations in the Bay Area I have been too) my favorite! The baristas are always on top of orders, and my coffee is always perfect! A nice seating area is present if you want to do work, read a book, or whatever you need to do sitting down.
Peet's has more plant based/vegan bites options than Starbucks. The plant based muffin and brownies are good at Peets. They also have plant based burrito. However Peets is still following the archaic way of discrimination against people who prefer plant based milk substitute - yes Peet's just like Starbucks charges extra for plant based milk substitute. Philz coffee shines in this regard - Philz coffee and attitude rocks.
