Got some tenders and fries from the food truck. The chicken was very dry. Fries were stale. Maybe I was unlucky but it was one of the worst fried chicken I had this year.
A friend had the sandwich and it was good.

We decided to try their food truck at TreasureFest since it seemed like a popular spot. However, we waited about an hour in line to both order our food and to wait for our food. The wait for the food felt the longest. I was even observing how often other customers’ food was being handed out through their pick up window, and it was not very often. The service was very very slow for a food service. Even other customers waiting for their food were looking around and wondering what was going on. The rest of our party finished their food, which was from other food trucks, before we got our food. I understand the food was most likely made to order, but when we were handed our food it wasn’t even hot. Just kind of warm. The food was also okay, it wasn’t awful. Tastes like the chicken you’d get at Disneyland or another park and it was at those same park prices (a bit much for what we got) Was really disappointed by the experience and will not be coming back. Should’ve asked for a refund.

The sandwich taste similar to what you would have at a theme park and similarly overpriced.

Recently had the chicken sack (fries and a chicken sandwich) at the sundown cinema event in alamo square. I never have high expectations for chicken sandwiches, I've had so many bad ones, but it sounded so good. I ate this one so fast I could not stop. The chicken was super moist and perfectly crisped and the bread and toppings they used were minimal but effective and delicious. The fries are the waffle kind and they were still delicious after getting cold! 10/10 for me thank you, Respectable Bird!

Came here in 2021 during the pandemic they were located out of a warehouse. Order took a while and there was a short line but the food was worth it. The fried chicken is better than most places and the fries are really good. Have tried going back but the hours were quite limited.
Find them at Fort Mason Off The Grid. Give them a follow on instagram too. I ate a chicken burger (sandwich, actually) and it filled me up for the whole day. From time to time I will order the chicken tenders and fries basket with their yummy house sauce (pictured). It made me feel like a tween again.

Tasty chicken sandwich
Good quality chicken and great sides!
Just tried them for the first timeAnd this was a really good chicken sandwich
August 2022:Tried the fried chicken noodle cup at the Off the Grid noodle challenge on 8-19.The lines were long and the menu looked very good. For this event, the truck had a set item that you got. The portion was comparable to the other truck's dishes. At first glance, the dish looked really good. Had a nice soft boiled egg that looked perfect as the yoke oozed over the noodles ?.Taste wise, it was pretty tasty but I thought there was too much sweetness in the dish. Tasted like teriyaki sauce which was a bit too overpowering of the chicken and egg.Just some feedback that hopefully helps. Rating five star ? and hope to try some of the food from their regular menu next time.
The Pros: Great food! The best fried chicken sandwich I've had in awhile! The Cons: A bit pricey and they left part of my order out. Didn't realize they didn't provide napkins or utensils without asking for them prior and certainly expected them to at the prices they charge.Overall: I'd still recommend it for the chicken sandwhich and if you aren't on a budget (easily over 60 dollars to feed 3) try some sides! Be sure to ask for napkins and double check your order. The little ticket they used to check mark stuff off isn't always accurate.
