This is a very nice restaurant to have a delicious Italian inspired dinner at. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and elegant. I love the peekaboo element in the bar as you can see into the kitchen. Great food, great service, and overall great place to eat.
The appetizers were very good but to our surprise the main food and overall service was bad to terrible however the owner accepted the responsibility and zeroed the bill. Very good for him. I think the place has the potential to become a really good place as long as the new hires start performing. The owner does his best and I wish him luck.
Welcoming atmosphere and creative menu.
Refused to let me view a menu. Was considering eating here and am vegetarian. Online does not say what's in the food. Thought they were very unfriendly. Highly do not recommend.
Amazing experience. Tortellini Buon Gusto was amazing.
After a long day battling city traffic and the blazing sun, ending the evening with a delicious dinner was the perfect reward. There was no wait—we were seated right away, menus and wine list in hand, ready for a food adventure.
Our waiter promptly brought out fresh bread with butter and a flavorful olive garlic oil, along with glasses of water to start. He shared the evening's specials, and I was thrilled to see my favorite—Chicken Piccata—on the list. The chicken was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth, and the sauce was absolutely divine.
I found a wine that paired beautifully with the meal, and the whole experience was made even better by sharing it with family. My husband ordered the clams and mussels and was just as impressed—no complaints, only love for this place. A must stop in my opinion.
Probably the worst service I've ever experienced in a restaurant. From taking our orders and paying the bill, and everything in between, it was a clown show. We ordered two salads. Only one was served, and it was delivered after the entrees. That's only a small example of the pitiful service. The owner/manager was totally disinterested. The only redeeming thing was the food, which was good....once we got it. The teenager bussers worked hard and were pleasant. They should run the place.
Worst service i ever had. Poorly run operation. Took forever. Waited 1.5 hours for entree and never came out. Left restaurant. On Fathers Day - as a Dad, I didn't get dinner.
Great place to dine in. Steak and pasta's we ordered were good. Would dine here again when we come back to SF.
I ordered a tiramisu to go. MAN OH MAN, it was delicious. One of the best tiramisus I’ve ever had. To everyone who made comments about the tiramisu, you were so right.

We must have gone on a REALLY bad day. We, a party of 4, arrived for lunch on a Thursday and were greeted by, no one! Somebody popped their head out of the kitchen and disappeared. Finally came out and greeted us in a hurried way and escorted to a table only to disappear again. Please note there was only one other table occupied. We were ignored for another period of time until a large group of 10 arrived and were immediately brought to their table. No one asked us for our drink order and finally what looked like the dishwasher came out to receive our order. He was not a real waiter and had trouble understanding our order and we had trouble understanding him. We asked for drinks and more confusion in understanding what we wanted. 2 of us wanted a draft beer (there is only 1 option for draft) and eventually was told they were out of draft beer(?) and one other person ordered a drink and was given the wrong drink. Eventually the food came out and it was as good as we remembered. We waited and waited and eventually were given dessert menus at which time we waited and waited until the waiter came back. By this time we were ready to leave and the waiter was told we did not want dessert and to give us the check. At this point, and no one said anything negative to him, he was defensive and said there is little available wait staff out looking for jobs and that was the reason for the poor service. Please note, the table of 10 who walked in after us was served and finished their meal and was ready to leave, We understand about the labor shortage due to the present administration policy and we would have accepted the wait if we were informed earlier in the meal. Good food and hope this owner gets some training in client satisfaction. A meal out is more than food!
What a terrible disappointment. My guest had a steak that appeared to have cremated. My veal Saltimbocca was a deconstructed version. I don't mind that. But, this had very little evidence prosciutto, insufficient sage, no evidence of lemon and was chewy. That, of course, suggests it was over cooked. The meal was over priced. The restaurant was nearly empty on a Friday night, at 8:00 PM. I now understand why. I won't be back.
Owner very rude. Told us we were the older generation and they now cater to a younger crowd.
Food very mediocre. We were stying ner SFO to pick up relatives and this place popped up. Never going back
Nice environment, friendly staff, home cooked food! Best of all, if you're not a big eater, half-orders are available on many dishes!
