We tried to make a reservation, but were told they accept reservations only for parties of 6 or greater. We were two people. The place is small so when we came, we were told it was full and not possible to dine there. My friend had come all the way from the East Bay so his trip was in vain. This is a terrible way to conduct business!!!! We won't bother going there! Unhelpful service!

This spot is such an amazing find. The food is delicious, the staff are all incredibly kind, and it's a very casual restaurant to grab lunch or dinner. This restaurant has entered my rotation of post-workout dinners when I just want something tasty and filling. I usually order the Erbil Kebab, which comes with rice and salad. It's a huge portion for one person, but a little small to feed two. You certainly get a ton of value for the price! Also... the toum (garlic sauce) is addictive--You've been warned!

This review is way overdue and if I could give this place 10 stars I would. The food has been spectacular every time I've gone there. I try different things on the menu and each time and was never disappointed. The staff is on point and the owner has such a wonderful passion for cooking. He's extremely nice and always makes me feel welcomed in a very comfortable beautiful relaxing renovated ambiance. Sofra has quickly become my go-to spot, especially since I'm only a 10 minute drive away!

Service was pleasant and food was good. I had the chicken shawarma and asked for the garlic sauce and hot sauce. The sauces were key. Next time I want to try the kunafe.

Sofra Grill is a MUST TRY gem of SSF. Not only is the food top notch 5 star quality, but the service is amazing! The chef/owner will come to your table and make sure your dining experience is up to your expectations. Love this place! 5 stars all the way! Cant wait to be back.

Went here for lunch, super friendly and nice! The meal was so yummy! Chicken was so juicy and had so much flavor. Love that it has lots of space and it was clean. Parking is limited in front but right across is a huge parking lot. They also had a few different drinks when I was there other than soda, which was a really nice surprise. I tried the mint mango drink- so good. Deff ask for extra sauce, can't get enough of that stuff

Great food great service. Better than Mazra in my opinion. Their lamb shank was juicy and tender. Their sampler had plenty of meat and was perfectly cooked. Their dips were flavorful. Will definitely be a return customer.

Was in the neighborhood and felt like Mediterranean food. Had already tried Mazra so decided to try Sofra. Ordered the streak shawarma - delicious - grilled meats, grilled pita made with fresh ingredients. Wanted to try something with lamb and was recommended the lamb shank. The lamb shank came baked in a bread. Our server opened the bread and exposed a beautifully prepared lamb shank - juicy, tasty and very well prepared. Spoke to the owner/cook near the end of our meal. He talked about braising the lamb for 9 hours prior to finishing it for customer. We could tell he was pretty passionate and proud of his cooking. Great local business - glad we decided to try new spot.

Overall, Clean place and peaceful atmosphere. Customer service was all good but the food was outstanding. large portions, very generous with the main dishes and most importantly we had leftovers. This will be our go to spots from now on.

I came here with a friend for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. The service is impeccable. The space is super clean. The food was tasty, has an authentic home-cooked, and tastes healthy yet indulgent. As we were dining, the chef came out to our table and allowed us to sample their chicken wings. Who does that anymore? Maybe my grandma. And the wings were impeccable. I had this crunchy shell you at first bite. The patrons were friendly. The staff is friendly. Where am I? I can't believe this place exists in this little neighborhood. It's a matter of time before this gem becomes overly crowded.

First time here and we can see why they have 5 stars. Service was very friendly and helpful. They checked with us multiple times throughout the meal to ask if everything was satisfactory and it was excellent. We had the falafel, pomegranate wings, musakhan (roast chicken), beef shawarma, and lamb shank. The portions were large and everything was delicious. The only complaints we had were the salad was overdressed and the shawarma was a little underseasoned compared to everything else. The falafel had a crunchy exterior and creamy interior full of flavor. The accompanying yogurt dill sauce matched with all the dishes that came after as well. Both chicken dishes were literally fall off the bone. The wings have a nice initial sweetness and tang before the spice rub comes through giving them an almost bbq flavor. The sumac, onions, and almonds along with the chicken drippings of the musakhan made the flavorful rice even better. The lamb shank was the largest we have ever had and the presentation with the flatbread casing was well worth the price. We cannot express enough how delicious everything was. Will definitely be back.

The food is made from scratch and is so good! The family that owns and operates is friendly and they give great service. I am gluten free and the owner remembers that and when I go in, I don't even have to ask for my items gluten free! He remembers and I feel special.

Good quality food. The food is really delicious. I'm so picky in Mediterranean food lucky I have found it. Big serving.
