Amazing sandwich speakeasy! Literally never had anything I didn't like. From the tortas to the tuna melt... you won't be disappointed. ORDER ONLINE. Do not show up trying to get a sandwich, much as they would like to help its a small shop and they get busy...so do yourself a favor and order online... you'll be happy with it! Located on the backside of the Sourdough bakery. This is place L.E.G.I.T!A few tips:I recommend ordering online and ahead of time because it can really get busy around lunch.And they can't charge a card for less than $10.Show them some love, they'll love you back!Parking: I honestly don't know who owns the lot, but parking in the lot doesn't seem to cause any issues that I've ever seen.

Amazing sandwiches. I've only had the cold mortadella and the turkey sandwiches, both really good. Make sure to get the garlic mayo.I tried the chili whole there, which was great too.I want to try the hot hot dogs soon.
Hidden hole in the wall with real deal subs. I had the pastrami and it was excellent. Lean, flavorful meat, great toppings, fresh bread, made with love. The owner is a nice guy and obviously cares a lot. Order online. I'll be back for the chili.

We found this deli in Yelp and stopped here after flying into the San Francisco Airport to start our Pacific Coast road-trip vacation. It's the speakeasy of lunch places! The guy at the register was super friendly and allowed me to customize my chili dog (cheddar versus American cheese). While we waited, he came out to chat with my husband and I. He told us all about the area and gave us great advice for our trip. It was fun to hear a local's perspective. My chili dog was huge (the biggest ever) and so delicious! Just look at a photo of it on others' posts. It was fresh and so amazing! Not all soupy. That was a delicious chili dog.My husband had the roast beef sandwich/torta and also really liked his. Then later, as we got close to our first destination 2 hours later, we enjoyed the homemade banana bread we were given on the house. What a treat!We will remember this place and stop by next time we fly to the West Coast. Thanks for such a memorable start to our vacation!
