Best Sourdough bread!

Worked at a Golf Country Club that only served Wedemeyer bread. The bread is delicious and very hardy, much better quality/taste than Acme Bakery. I highly recommend Wedemeyer Bakery

LOVE the Batard that you supply Grocery Outlet with. Every time I shop there, I have to pick up a loaf!

1960.... Dad received a position at the bakery when we moved to the States. Everyone there spoke German. As a little, we'd visit, I was so shy I hid behind dad. We always stopped in the office and my brother and I were given paper bakery hats to wear. The owners, the Wedemeyers and staff were so friendly. I loved seeing the huge mixers and the wonderful smell of fresh bread. They even had an old fashioned cola machine. I've visited each time I return to our hometown. Many fond memories of so many family friends that have all passed. Wedemeyers, Meyers, Heinz, Swat, Luneberg. Thank you for continuing a great family business.

They make some our family's favorite bread. We particularly like the wheat and honey sandwich bread and the cinnamon raisin bread. Also, they use no preservatives, which is a nice plus.

Those 1 star votes seem trollish in nature.

I really love the bread, it is so fresh and soft. The bread is never hard, their sourdough is my favorite, and they have yet to disappoint me! The bread is perfect for everything, sandwiches to a side for soup! The people work incredibly hard to give above average bread to their customers. I will always love Wedemeyer Bakery!!!!!!!

I love your bread! I go out of my way to get it since where I live, they do not carry it. I have to go on a 15 minute streetcar ride. I live on 18'th and Church in SF. Maybe you can steer me to a closer place. One major complaint I bet a lot of people have with your product is your wrapping really sucks! Such great bread is wrapped in a sub standard wrapping that always seems to rip apart. A lot of times I have to tape the wrapping because if not, the bread tends to get hard. Maybe a resealable bag of some type. This is your major pitfall, and I bet I'm not the only one who complains. Anyway, I still buy the bread...
