My friend and I had taken a quick walking break and were craving something cold and refreshing since it was quite a hot and sunny day. I mentioned that there was a gelato place on the first floor of Tressider Union, and my friend jumped up at the opportunity. The worker helping us was so sweet and kind and we were also impressed to see the gelato being churned right at the store. Food: - Stracciatella--$3.50 for Piccolo Scoop in a Cup The gelato was silky smooth and I loved the crunch from the bits of chocolate mixed throughout. It was rich but not too rich and was just what I was craving. Tips: - Ask for samples of flavors before you decide what you want!

Came to Decadence for a sweet desert with my daughter's after we ate a late lunch as we had just flown in from Dallas. The fabulous Ashley was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Ashley was a desert artist, not just merely an employee dispensing a product to a customer. It made my daughter's and my day. I am seriously impressed and will definitely be back for more. I'm not sure if I visited at a bad time, but I did not have a good experience here. There were no spoons, and our sundae was given to us on a plate, with no toppings. The wait was incredibly long. Lots of flavors not stocked.

Intense Chocolate is the truest, tastiest dark chocolate gelato I've ever had. This alone earns Decadence five stars imo. If I could, I'd buy a pint of it from the Stanford campus to bring back home. Amazing!

Visited here over the summer and boy oh boy does it get busy at lunchtime! Honestly wouldn't suggest coming here during then unless you literally have an hour. On the brighter side, there is a lot of seating outside and some inside. Plenty of restaurants like Panda Express, Subway, Decadence, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, and Sushi & Heirlooms (both weren't open while I was there). Some is a little on the expensive side so beware.

Woman at the counter literally did everything wrong when making my coffee ice cream float thing. She added all of the wrong ingredients, including and unbeknownst to me, a praline crumble thing that has gluten. The hidden gluten was but discovered until the bottom of my cup. I have celiac disease and now I am sick and miserable and I paid $7 for a shitty desert. Don't trust this place if you have a dietary restriction, the clearly have no idea what they're doing

Located inside Tresidder Union, it's next to the BBQ, Panda Express, and across from Starbucks. Usually one worker here manning the station, but their variety of gelato flavors and menu offerings is no joke. You can grab a single, double, triple scoop and also coffee or sundae concoctions with top notch coffee brews. Grade A gelato! I tried the "Spring in a Cup" with mint chocolate and rainbow mochi. Well worth the $3+ for a cup of happiness.
