This place is filthy. Food is ok at best and bad at worst. Service is absolutely horrible. The owners are so cheap they refuse to hire staff. We went there Sunday and there was literally one server for 38 people. Yeah I counted. We waited 55 mins for our food. When the table next to us got their food first, we inquired how much longer it would take. The owner got pissy. Also the sanitary conditions here are horrible. Hard pass. Come at your own risk. Btw we ended up leaving without eating because of reasons above.
My parents, who love loach stew, always stop by and eat it when they come to Calico. My parents admit that it is a restaurant that is thicker and better than most loach stew restaurants in Korea. The side dishes are prepared well and with sincerity, and everything is delicious. The servers are all friendly and I don't know if it's the owner, but there is a man there who is really friendly and makes me feel good every time I come.

Just finished having lunch with my wife. I had the Mud Fish Soup (choo uh tang) and she had Spicy Beef Soup (yook gae jang). Food was awesome. Service was great. Atmosphere was great for me. But, it was designed to be old school style. Leaving very satisfied and healthy full. Will come back again.
When the store is busy, the owner wearing glasses is rude to the customers. What are you doing if the food is okay? It's not Additu. Closing the store arbitrarily without any notice... This person needs to study service.
