Their sign says they are open until 6:30. Got there at 5:50 and the doors were locked, lights off and no one inside. There was another lady who arrived right when we did and was also upset that she had driven 20 minutes to get there, only to find it closed before hours posted. Really bad form. Won't be coming back.

2 stars for friendly service and cool decorations on the wall. But the food was terrible, #2 crispy pork banh mi had a few pieces that were unedible, hard as a rock. Pork belly banh mi had one slice that was so rubbery it couldn't be chewed. Maybe it was our mistake for ordering around 5pm, got some old leftovers for food. Extremely disappointed, wish I hadn't tipped but hey, that's tipping culture.
The sandwich was amazing! We got the egg sandwich, in the black bread. So bomb. The thai tea and Vietnamese coffee! There is no sitting, that the only downside. Enjoy
Great authentic banh mi without having to go all the way to Little Saigon
Hidden Gem for Banh Mi Lovers!
I work nearby and was craving banh mi, so I decided to try this place, even though the ~4.0 rating was below my usual 4.5 standard. I’m so glad I did! The customer service was outstanding—the gentleman who took my order was incredibly kind and welcoming.
I haven’t tried their regular bread yet, but the charcoal bread was absolutely fantastic. It was perfectly crunchy, and the quality of the meat was top-notch. Both the grilled BBQ pork and the house special banh mi were excellent—some of the best I’ve had in years.
Having eaten Vietnamese banh mi for over 50 years across LA, Orange County, San Diego, San Jose, Las Vegas, and even Vietnam, I can confidently say this charcoal bread ranks among the best. I’d rate it a solid 9/10 and can’t wait to go back!
Stopped here to try the crispy roasted pork belly Bánh mì. Ordrrrd the house special, all meat combinations. And the crispy pork belly with the charcoal baguette. The pork belly meat was really good but didn’t care for the charcoal Bánh mì. The house special is also delicious as well. Lots of meat stuffed inside the baguette.Decent size, foot long Bánh mì.

Stopped by for a revisit.
Yep, still pretty good. Will help with general Banh Mi cravings. Felt like less veggies and jalapenos, but still good meat bread ratio!
Crisp bread, tasty meats, fresh veggies. Well done. Even my second generation son likes it.
Had original, piggy piggy, bang bang, and beefriended. All delicious.
V-Coffee was mid for V-Coffee.
I would drive out of my way again for this place.

Was craving banh mi for breakfast and remembered this hidden gem in Stanton. Ordered five different banh mis for myself and the family online (Vegetarian, Special, Pork Roll, Eggs N' Spam, and the chicken). Food came out pretty quickly and was still hot when I got there to pick it up. Service was friendly and good. The banh mis were still fresh and hot when I got home. Overall, all of the banh mis tasted great! The bread itself was fresh, ingredients were flavorful and we enjoyed them very much. The one thing I will say is in the future, I will be asking for light mayo on all of the banh mis. While it was the normal amount you would expect on a banh mi, it still felt like a bit much.I can't speak for their drinks or other menu items, but if you're looking for a new banh mi spot to go, definitely check out Banh Mi Belly!

This is my favorite place to get banh mi. They have a crispy pork one that is DELICIOUS and I haven't found anything else like it. The man who I always helps me is very nice, and remembered me when I came back months after I moved away from the area. Highly recommend, I wish I still lived near there just so I could have Banh Mi Belly banh mi.

Had a pork belly banh mi with extra pate and a Vietnamese iced coffee at 8 am. The bread was crispy and fresh; the pork belly had a delightful chewy rind that I will be back for, and the pate had a buttery subtone. The iced coffee was creamy and sweet. Service was prompt and friendly. The only minus was that it was expensive (compared to the banh mi I was used to in SGV). Will be back!

1st and LAST to buy sandwhich here! My husband and I had to fight for restroom breaks all afternoon until midnight after eating the house special and crispy pork belly on charcoal sandwhich here! ? The bread were not fresh either; it's too hard & stale!
