This place does not deserve a spot in the wonderful rodeo 39. The nonchalant attitude of the employees were excusable since they were obviously teenagers (still, better training would help), but taking an hour for a simple order of the most basic thing on the menu when there was NO ONE in front of us was just absolutely ridiculous. The food was beyond bland, the portion sucked, and the price? Way too much for the quality and quantity of food. The raw lettuce was more flavorful than the cooked food. Never, EVER again

Horrible service. The food is good but the service is awful, I ordered in person and take out on delivery and the food takes forever. The first time I ordered there was in person and it took 30 for the food to be done and I'm the ONLY person in line. There's a lot of people standing around doing nothing in the back. Ordering online is just the same as it took over 30 minutes for them to even confirm the order.

I've had BXB a few times, and recently it seems like this place is running on its last legs. During my last visit, they didn't have their full menu available. The staff is literally one person in the kitchen while all orders are mobile when there's no one in front. The food was crammed into tiny to-go containers, while before they were in these wide boxes that could hold two massive hamburgers Also, the meats in the banh xeo didn't stick to the batter. It looked like they were tossed on after like a taco salad. So when you pick up the banh xeo, the meats would just fall out. Usually you cook the proteins and veggies first and then pour over the batter so they are melded together. Mine was not like that. They looked like they were cooked all separately. Banh xeo is a one-pan wonder. I really don't know why they changed the execution. It just doesn't work. The food did tasted delicious thankfully. Just lots of bad and questionable choices. I truly hope BXB gets their act together. It'll be sad if this place closes.

Got the pork belly fries and it was definitely not worth the wait. There was no line yet food took 25 minutes to come out. After 15 minutes we asked about our order, the server looked confused. He went back inside and looked at the only ticket there , then he proceeds to put the fries in the fryer. After another 10 minutes I ask and he just gestures 3 minutes without an apology nor explanation. Then when it was ready he just points at it. With all the different options for food in the plaza, I'd say skip this place solely on service or the lack of.

I was heading to Shootz, but wanted to try something new in the area. I got Pork Belly fries. The pork belly itself felt like eating scraps of meat and fat. I got hard dry crunchy meat and lumps of fat, nothing in between. The fries were a little hard, and had a little too much oil. I didn't finish the fries because the oils taste was giving me a headache. Pandan Horchata tasted like milk after eating fruit loops. It was slightly sweet which isn't bad. They also didn't have the cinnamon, which is an important aspect of it. They didn't tell me until AFTER I ordered it. You're supposed to let customers know something integral is missing before the order is placed. The cashier said it wasn't important and that it doesn't affect the flavor. That doesn't excuse anything. I also hated the fact that I felt pressured to tip with the cashier was looming and looking over. I yielded and did. I don't think I'll be coming back here. It was overpriced and I didn't really enjoy it. Looks good, but wasn't.

Very nice and quick service!! The pork belly fries surprised me, it such a nice sweet savory peppery taste. Would come back again and again for this!!

DELICIOUS food, but it's takeout in a box only. Eating bánh xèo without a full table setting can be messy and inconvenient. I think if they open a full small restaurant it'll quite successful.

Waited 30 minutes for a chicken and shrimp crepe. I'd say it wasn't worth it save the $18.08 folks. Oh and you guys should offer wipes bc this is such a messy dish to eat.

I loved the taste and texture of the Vietnamese crepes in the Swimming Pig entree. The pork belly could have been a little fresher, but it and the shrimp were tasty. The accompanying salad was very fresh as well. My two friends similarly enjoyed their crepe-based entrees, and the egg rolls. (The place is part of a large food court and it's not s sit-down restaurant. There is no wait service. Drink options are quite limited, so get your drinks at one of the other vendors.)

I used to be a regular here in that I would never get anything else at Rodeo 39. But Bahn Xeo Boys has done a complete 180 in quality, now.Yesterday, the portion size of my order was basically half the previous size. They included only 2 sad, stringy pieces of cilantro, no carrots — the only veggies were a couple lettuce leafs and soggy bean sprouts. Also, the soda machine broke, and they decided not to fix it, so there's no point in getting a combo either. I used to go home with half my food for leftovers; yesterday I left hungry. What the heck happened to this place? It used to be so good.

The Banh Xeo Boys know how to make banh xeo! Located in Rodeo 39 so convenient parking, they're tucked away in a corner. I ordered the Swimming Pig which has a mixture of pork and shrimp filling. There was so much filling, perfect to share with a good amount of lettuce and fresh herbs to create the perfect bite. The outer egg layer was crispy even through the drive back home so I was impressed. Could have used more nuoc cham, but I may be biased because I could basically drink it like water. I also loved the spicy garlic - an elevated touch! Would 100% order again!

I have been wanting to check out Banh Xeo boys for the longest time after seeing the hype on TikTok. I would say, TikTok might've hyped it up too much for me :( Maybe because my family makes banh xeo once in a while so my expectation was high. We ordered the Summer Pig which was pork belly and shrimp. There was plenty of toppings inside but I do wish they crispy up the meat and then poured the batter over it so it cools together. When breaking the banh xeo to make a wrap, it broke apart easily with the meat falling out. I also don't think they provided enough lettuce (3 pieces). The batter and nuoc nam was a bit too sweet for my taste.

Located in the Rodeo 39 Public Market! I didn't try out the banh Xeo, but we did try the dessert and drink here. I ordered the Vietnamese Coffee Churros and it was pretty good. I would rate the churros 4/5. I got the Pandan Horchata and it was a bit watery in my opinion. I would rate the pandan horchata a 3/5.

Came here for lunch on a Friday. Food was freshly cooked to order and generous portions given.

I ordered porkbelly fries at this spot in the corner. The person at the counter took my order and said it would be about 10 minutes. There weren't a lot of people waiting around, so I figured I'd come back in 10 minutes. I came back and didn't see my food or anyone at the front. They have a very big kitchen with glass windows and I can see right through them. There were two guys just standing around. I'm not sure if they were waiting for something, but it ended up taking closer to like 20min for the fries. Once I got it, it was okay. The fries were pretty hard. I guess it's so that the sauce on top doesn't make them soggy. However, the fries were just tough to eat since they were hard. There wasn't a ton of pork belly on the fries, and they were very small. The taste kinda fell short for me. I think if the fries were better, it would bring this way up. I'm not sure if I'd get this again. It was just okay.
