I recently visited Gomen Ramen in Stanton and had an amazing experience. This cozy restaurant serves delicious Japanese Ramen, appetizers, and drinks. Despite being busy during lunchtime, the service was friendly and the food was so flavorful. They offer a variety of noodle choices including thin, thick, spinach, tofu, low-carb, and gluten-free noodles. I enjoyed their healthy options. The menu include different types of broth like chicken, pork, and a veggie option. I loved the meat lover ramen with triple chasu as it was a generous portion and the soup was rich and flavorful. Additionally, they offer fried rice, udon, curry, and a variety of appetizers such as fried dumplings, takoyaki, and Karaage. The Karaage was especially good, perfectly fried and juicy. The service was friendly, although the food did take a while to arrive. However, the delicious food made the wait worthwhile.

I was born in Nagasaki, but the Champon here was quite delicious. It was a little thinner than the authentic version, but it was delicious without being too thick or too thin. There was so much that I couldn't finish it by myself (although I ate most of it). I was pleasantly surprised to find that it contained mussels. In the first place, champon means a mixture of various things, so I'm happy that it contains all kinds of meat, vegetables, and seafood.☺️Later, the noodles were the same as Champon noodles, but if I could buy them here, I would buy them too! ! lolThe recommendation below didn't have champon in it, so I figured the regular ramen would probably be delicious as well, so I chose it.Oh, and then I had fried chicken and mochi ice cream (azuki) ?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️I don't live nearby, but this is a restaurant I would definitely like to visit again. I want to eat some rice next time.Lastly, I think the customer service is also perfect. Thank you for the meal

This place is so delicious and has large portions! Their menu is large enough to ensure you find a fav yet not so large you get lost in. The service was so sweet and friendly. Definitely a small business I wanna support!

Noodle and broth were good, and lots of meat. Meat is not as tender as other cuts.

Ramen was really good, but the service was really bad. Not sure if it was new staff but we placed a to go order and were told 20 minutes around 5pm....we come back in that time frame and they didn't even place the order and must have forgot, and the server who helped us didn't apologize or anything, super disappointed. Then we ended up waiting another 30 minutes for our ramen and curry, watched the other orders go out way before ours and lots of disorganization, with a transactional thank you at the end. No hospitality whatsoever. Also saw the chef put her hands and remove chasu from ramen with her hands and then the server place a slice of nori in the ramen with their hands, after I watched them touch multiple things before hand with no hand washing. Super put off by how bad the service was.

In the mood for something different, I went with the Mabo Ramen at this Japanese spot. The texture and flavor brought a unique twist to my ramen experience. It's funny how it reminded me of savoring a hearty bowl of chili, but with that distinct ramen twist. It's described on the menu as a soy sauce ramen with mabo tofu (Japanese gravy with tofu, chopped BBQ pork pieces, and green onions). It was a solid choice, and I would definitely order it again. The blend of flavors made it a memorable dish.Kid-friendliness: Several tables with young children enjoying their meals. Did not see any high chairs though.Wheelchair accessibility: They could accommodate a wheelchair. Hallway to bathroom may be a bit narrow.

The ramen is good but the soup is too salty. The service is slow since they don't have enough people.

I believe they closed for a while and just recently reopened the restaurant? The "eggs" are really not Japanese style of eggs for Ramen noodles ... these are just straight hard boiled eggs ... plus it doesn't taste like before anymore!
