Thank you the best Burmese cuisine in California. saids my daughter in law from Burma. Friendly chef and his charming wife
We just tried this place for the first time last night and it did not disappoint. I loved everything about it. The Tea Leaf Salad stands out as being particularly good, but there was nothing we tried that wasn’t amazing. We were guided through the menu by a very helpful woman who made the experience fun and who let us know which dishes were favorites among her clientele. Even the coconut rice, which I ordered as an afterthought, was incredible. We will be back.

Irrawaddy is an excellent Burmese restaurant. I’ve only been here a couple of times, but each dish is amazing. Here are my recommendations:
- Tea Leaf Salad: this is a must get. My friends introduced me to tea leaf salad before I went here, and this is one of the best rendition I have as well as the tastiest dish here.
- Masala Chicken: The meat just falls off the bone, so satisfying! Very saucy dish and it pairs so well with the delicious coconut rice
- Mandalay coconut noodles: soo good
- Burmese Milk Tea (hot): This is pretty reminiscent of Hong Kong milk tea and also very satisfying especially on a cold day
The staff here is also wonderful and fast. Highly recommended.

Staff is incredibly friendly, social, but professional. Food was AMAZING!! They offer family style, so we ordered about 7-8 dishes and shared with 5 people. Will definitely go again!!
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly location. Open area, plenty of lighting. They also offer a nice variety of non alcoholic beverages: sodas, coconut juice, tea etc.

Food here is pretty pricey and is pretty much fusion to fit western taste. Was hoping to get more authentic flavors. The taste of the mohinga wasn't bad but was lacking the banana stems. Other dishes didn't really stand out, but I love the service here. They're very friendly and quick.

I might have high expectations for Burmese restaurant. We ordered a bunch of food to try and none of them impressed us. They all taste good but not amazing. If you ever had Mingalaba in SF, you know what I mean.
Would give it another try to conclude if we ever come back here.
Service is amazing. Dining area is cute and cozy.

If you've never been to Irrawaddy's you need to try it. I brought two other couples there for a special meal and it was fantastic. We ordered all of our food "family style" so everyone had an opportunity to taste the different dishes. Everything was delish! We started out with the Paratha Bread, the Tea Leaf Salad and then each person ordered a main dish (all of which were great). My only complaint is that they are in Stanton and it's a long drive from all of our cities (Orange, Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa) respectively, but worth the drive. Can't say enough good things about this place!
I ordered Burmese style pad thai. And it has a long hair in the noodles, very disappointed , I had to throw away the food. Never ordering it from here again. Just disappointed how I’m craving for the food and it turn out it has some hair in it. made me lose my appetite. Will not recommend this place to anyone and the price is already high, not worth the taste. What a waste of $18 dollar.

Great food but very expensive and in an empty restaurant I'd rather be seated further away from the people talking loud the next table over. Tea leaf lamb was amazing.

I have never had Burmese food before nor did I know what to expect. But this place was AMAZING. I'm semi picky and sensitive to some things but this place had it all. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, whatever! And it was all soooo good! The family or whoever runs it is so amazing, kind, and helpful. The prices are amazing for the amount of food you get. I cant recommend enough

We discovered Burmese food not too long ago and my wife fell in love with Tea salads. This place made a very good tea salad, but I liked another one I had which also added garlic chips.
The coconut curry shrimp was very good and the eggplant curry. Overall we really enjoyed the meal and would come back again.

Authentic Burmese cuisine with local flavors. A great variety to choose from. I love their Burmese salads which are healthy as well as tasty. A great ambience with Burmese decor. Must try.
Parking: It’s a strip center with no parking issues any time of the day and any day of the week.
