Found this place last minute. They were able to accommodate all 7 of us with no problem. This was our first time trying Burmese food, and it was delicious. This restaurant will be a regular stop for us when we are in the Anaheim area.

Great place. Awesome for gluten free. The Tea Leaf Salad is a MUST and the take-home kit to make later is just as amazing. The staff here is so kind and the atmosphere is truly family-style friendly. Another favorite is the pork/pumpkin stew…good anytime of year.

We discovered this place last year and just HAD to come back to see if it was as good as we remembered. It was! Our absolute favorite is the tea leaf salad, but everything we ordered was delicious! Super friendly service. The place is clean & nicely decorated, but a standard configuration for a strip mall restaurant. No intimate dining for you! But who needs intimate dining with such great food? This place is definitely a destination restaurant for us during our annual visit to the area.

This Burmese restaurant offers traditional dishes in a cozy setting. If you haven't tried Burmese cuisine before, it's reminiscent of Thai but with a more exotic touch. The menu is straightforward, prices are fair, and the food is both exceptional and authentic. The home-style cooking is delightfully delicious, creating a genuine ambiance. I particularly recommend the Tea Leaf Salad and the incredibly tender beef masala. Many of the dishes are perfect for sharing.

Delicious food, wonderful service, decent beer and wine selection. Would highly recommend stopping here for dinner. The tea leaf salad was awesome. All apps were delicious. Entrees came out timely and fresh. Our favorites were the pork and pumpkin curry and Mandalay noodles. Fried rice and coconut rice were solid as well.

New to Burmese food but man! Why haven’t I tried it sooner. This place has it all, for Vegans, Vegetarians and the rest of us. Favorite dish had to be their famous Tea Leaf Salad which was outstanding for a salad! Who comments on a salad!!! But this is a must get starter dish, followed by the paprika shrimp and ending the meal with the coconut jelly. The staff were so friendly and restaurant was clean and inviting. Highly recommend!

I lived in Myanmar/Burma for a time and I can say that this place is the real deal! The food is delicious and completely authentic. Everything I had was amazing: Mohinga, Curry, and Shan Noodles. Not only was it up to standard for a lot of the food I ate in Myanmar, but I would put it up with some of the best Burmese food I have had period. Would recommend!

I was able to live in Burma (Yangon state) for two years. I probably only cooked a handful of meals for myself that entire time. The rest of my meals were street food or restaurants or prepared by friends and family. This restaurant is the best Burmese food I’ve ever had. Although they were busy, the staff were very quick, and so kind to everyone. I know everyone likes Thai food so much here, but this makes Thai food look bad.( I ordered the Shan Noodles, which they called Burmese Pad Thai)Wheelchair accessibility: The access ramp is 10 feet from the entrance

Shun, our Server and Rosanna, the owner is absolutely wonderful. Their hospitality, their food, their welcoming smiles is always great. We been customer since 2018 with raving reviews on YELP. My husband and I are over the moon they made it through COVID 2020 to 2021. We always get our own Green Tea Leaf salad, we have tried all the noodle entree plates are so yummy, and Green Tea Leaf Beef. Remember to order Burmese Ice Tea, better than Thai Ice Tea. Highly recommended!

I’m glad I took the plunge and went out of my comfort zone! Tried Burmese cuisine for the first time and I can say it did not disappoint!Burmese cuisine in itself is a fusion different cultures of Thai, Chinese, Indian plus some food that is unique and Authentic to Burma!Irrawaddy in Stanton , is a family owned and the only Burmese Restaurant in OC. And they do all the food so well and cooking is distinctly homemade- like visiting and being invited to eat at a friend’s home!We chose the below cuisines- we told our host that we want to eat authentic Burmese! For our appetizers we got:Golden Tofu- I cannot believe these were made out of chick peas! Battered and fried to perfection everyone needs to try these!Samusa- were my kids favorite! These were perfect pockets of potato, not too spicy but amazingly flavored!Noodles:Mandalay style coconut noodles- reminds me of Filipino pancit canton, but with the added taste of coconut milk! It was amazing and a must have!Garlic Noodles with shrimp- this is hard to pass on! So simple yet so satisfying and makes me feel at home!Salad:Tea leaf Salad- had to try the famous Tea Leaf Salad. So unique and authentically Burmese the tea Leaves are imported only from Burma, give a very distinct taste surprisingly not bitter! And I loved the crunch of every bite!Home cooked entrees:Pumpkin pork stew- slow cooked pork with pumpkin, every bite needs to be pumpkin and and tender meat!Beef masala- slow cooked beef with potatoes and Burmese Curry sauce is another must have!Paired with the coconut rice is perfection.Drinks:Burmese Milk Tea- Burmese version of Milk tea, reminds me ofDesserts:Par Lu dar- the kids loved this so much! The jelly, tapioca, pudding, with strawberry ice cream in the coconut cream milk is so close to Halo-halo!Burmese coconut jelly- the consistency of jell-o but wayyyy better as it’s made of coconut milk. Let that sink in.Irrawaddy is one restaurant that you’ll go back to and recommend to all your friends!
