Foods good but don't make the mistake of ordering extra white rice ? $3.00 in a condiment container, this is highway robbery even you double the amount of rice still not worth it. Oh my it's plain white rice why $3?.

This restaurant is inside the Rodeo 39 market. It’s at the very end to the left nearby the restroom. The curry here is good. I added fried egg on it. They have the kimino drink. I love it. Side dishes are good. Try it if you stop by.

The curry is so rich, savory, hearty and just a tad bit sweet. I love how they have tons of different proteins to choose from, instead of just chicken or pork katsu like most places. Highly recommend the shrimp tempura curry, pork belly curry, beef belly curry and furikake fries!Pro tip: dip the fries in the curry for an awesome burst of umami!

Kare Japanese curry located in the Rodeo 39 PM in Stanton is a great place to get your lunch or dinner on!
Serving different types of meat with that hearty Japanese curry, you can be rest assured you'll get great food at a reasonable time!
For our choices we had the chicken katsu and spam katsu with fried egg both so good! The curry is definitely generously plated but as a spam lover I think one more slice would have been perfect!
We also got the shrimp tempura which both my kids love to eat!
They do provide chili powder mix to adjust the spice level to your curry, which helps a lot because have different preferences one can't take spice at all and the other has been exploring and loving the kick!
Definitely recommend if you are in the area and would like a meal that will for sure warm your hungry tummy!

Discover @karejapanesecurry inside Rodeo 39 and you won’t be disappointed! There are so many amazing choices and combinations that you cannot go wrong. The Japanese curry sauce is rich and savory. The proteins seems endless and you really can’t go wrong. Oh yeah, the portions are plentiful and filled to the rim on certain combinations. What did we eat at KARE?? Furikake Fries? Crispy Goyzas? Chicken Katsu Curry? Beef Belly Curry? Pork Belly Curry? Crispy Shrimp CurryAll main proteins are yummy on its own but dipping all the meat in the curry is all extra umami!! A family favorite has to be the Beef Belly that tastes like Gyudon, yummy!

Tried Kare for the first time this past week and really enjoyed the food here. I was really excited to try Kare's spam katsu curry as most katsu curry spots don't have it as an option. The spam katsu itself was good and flavorful but definitely saltier than most katsu (unsurprisingly given that it's spam). The chicken katsu is their most popular and was my preferred of the two dishes. The staff here were very nice and there's plenty of parking available as the restaurant is located in Rodeo 39.

A great curry spot located in Rodeo 39 Public Market that you don’t want to miss out on! Their curry is quite flavorful and their portions are pretty generous. I like that they make the food fresh to order because when I got my order, it was all piping hot! This spot definitely stood out to me because of their pork belly protein option for their curry. I believe not many curry places offer pork belly as the protein. I know there are a lot of good food options in Rodeo, but honestly, even if I was full from trying other spots, I would still order their curry entrees to go because it’s that good! They even give you extra chili powder if you want the sauce to be spicier. I hope one day they can offer a plate/bowl option that allows you to choose two different proteins.|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G ||-Located inside of Rodeo 39 Public Market near Dot & Dough and Primal Cuts.-Parking lot can be quite chaotic and full on the weekends.|| F O O D ||Pork Belly Curry – My absolute favorite! At first I thought this would be a braised pork belly with curry, but I was super excited when I saw it was pan fried pork belly. I’ve never tasted a pork belly so crispy on the outside and wasn’t overcooked! It was such a real treat! I definitely recommend the pork belly!Chicken Katsu Curry – You can’t go wrong with the typical chicken katsu cutlet with curry! The chicken cutlet was crispy and juicy on the inside.Furikake Fries – Super crispy with a good amount of furikake seasoning. I liked how the seasoning was evenly applied to every piece of fry. Great for those that like both sweet and savory flavor simultaneously.

The curry here was too good. I brought my kids here have after they learned about curry recently. They ate all of it! They had curry by the spoonful after finishing the rice and katsu. Now they won’t spot bugging me to go back!
